My daughter will be celebrating her 5th birthday at disney and I could cry with the excitement, was going to book a special birthday meal but it's more for parties and there will just be the 2 of us

I'm at page 18 of the thread now :D

I'm flying with easyjet but I bought a package with mytravel, 4 nights at the explorer, flights and park tickets with sealife aswell, to have the transfers was going to be £21 each way and I wasnt sure if it was worth it

Do you ever get so excited about something you think your going to explode :o

It's only 95 days until I go not that I'm counting or anything and I'm so OTT about it :j

If the £21 transfer is for both of you I'd say go with that for ease if they will be meeting your flight as I found the worst bit about CDG was getting out of it!

As regards food in the park being expensive, yes some can be expensive but others are reasonable and for a 4 year old it might be nice to splash out for a Character meal as getting access to the characters at the parks can be a bit of a kerfuffle!

Afternoon tea for instance at the Plaza Gardens is 13 Euros and you get to meet a lot of different characters. I'd also recommend Annettes Diner for a reasonably priced burger and you can share a dessert. Take a look at this board for lots of tips on your hotel, the parks and the restaurants.

I'd posted before I read this, do book a special meal and don't worry about it just being the two of you, even the birthday party at Plaza Gardens is only 18 Euros with a birthday cake but if you can afford it I'd maybe splash out for Walts or Cafe Mickey.

I took my OH for her birthday a few years back and stayed for New Years eve too (5nights/6days) it was amazing and we ahd a character brekkie on her birthday, which is always good fun, along with good morning fantasyland.

We ate at Walts last time we went for part of our honeymoon and was really dissapointed, so we ate in our hotel (DH), which whilst costing a fair bit was amazing and worth every penny.

Im off to check out prices now :D

Just checked some texts from a friend who was there mid term and they walked out of Walts due to not getting a 4th chair and being kept waiting but, this is what she said about Cafe Mickey...

Mickeys was fab, we saw micky, goofy, pluto, tigger, captain hook, mr smee, eeyore and two others we didn't know. they did freedom dance twice, girls loved it!

Cafe Mickey it is! I was just worried they wouldnt want to do with just myself and my daughter, although it would be so fantastic for her she just loves disney, doesnt watch anything but playhouse disney and disney channel!
