  • Hi Cathy, if you fly into Charles de Gaulle there are shuttles every 20-30 minutes to take you straight to the park, they are signposted within the airport too, I think. Transfer is currently around 17 euros each way for adults, a bit less for kids. They are usually busy but not so much that you have to wait for ages. The driver will drop you off at your hotel, they stop at each one in turn. IF it is really busy they will put on extra buses. I have had reason to use these shuttles loads of times and even though it sometimes feel like we live there we still don't hire a car, simply because the shuttle bus is so convenient.

Thanks for taking the time to reply :D

Do these shuttle buses go into the evening aswell, I think I arrive in CDG at 6pm and the flight home is 9.50pm

I'm fairly confident on my own but I'm more nervous with it just being myself and my daughter

  • I have never had any trouble getting to or from the airport, we use the 06.45 from manchester and the 21.10 from charles de gaulle (these flights have been operating from manchester for Yeeeeeeeeeeeears). When leaving Disney (I know you don't want to think about the return at the minute, sorry) I would suggest giving yourself a good 2 hours to get to the airport though on top of the two hour check-in time, more if it's a busy time of year. Part of the route is on the motorway and it is not unknown to have delays and plus the buses can fill up to get you back to the airport, Disney will put extra buses on if needed but it can still add to a delay. A delay getting to Disney from the airport is an nuisance, a delay getting to the airport can mean an expensive missed flight.

    Who are you flying with?

Our package came with a 2 day hopper pass each, and the 3rd day were due to tour Paris. but I dont feel like finding my own way around Paris and back to the coach as it was tricky enough in dlp asking for directions lol

Im thinking of buyin another 1 day hopper pass. does anyone know if this is cheaper to buy there, here in a disney store or online?
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.
  • emweaver, do go to Paris, the tour will probably drive you around all the major sights and Paris is THE most wonderful city, honestly it is. I love the Sacre Couer and you get amazing views over the city, it is a bit on the outskirtsish up in Montmartre but you can stay central and see loads of stuff without even using a bus, just get yourself a really good map.

I love Paris, I love Paris, I really love Paris, if you don't go I will stamp my feet and sulk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will love it, its a fab place, no matter what age. I took my parents with us when we 1st went in 2000, and stayed at Newport Bay Club, I didnt think my Dad would enjoy it, but he loved it.
Imagine a 60 year old man from Devon, who has a bad hip and struggles walking at times, trying to get out of the chairs on Phantom Manor, and nearly going round again- Priceless memory.
