Thank you so much for all the answers :). Hope you can help me out with another couple of queries.

    1. Do you get a discount in auberges when using the annual passes.

    2. promoparcs had a special price on the dream passes of 125 euros but its gone up 143 euros which is still cheaper then on the gate prices but do u think i should hold out to buy the passes as we are going in june. Do you think they will have them on special offer again?

    3. Even if your not staying at the disneyland hotel, can you go in the hotel, have a look around and have brekky?
  • Thanks in advance for ur help :)

Is it the Ibis budget? I've stayed there (not stayed in the others). My daughter loved the Ibis budget because the room configuration means she had a single bed bunked over the double bed :). It was very clean, the bathroom is a cabin-type affair though ie its all one small wetroom with shower and toilet in it, with an opaque glass door, in a corner of the bedroom. The rooms are small but if you're just using the room to sleep and shower, its fine. The Ibis hotel is next door to the Ibis budget, and the rooms are slightly bigger.

Its in a fab position too - in a little courtyard with 3 or 4 other hotels, at the back of the train station, literally 2 minutes walk from the train platform taking you to and from DLP.

The L'Elysee and Adagio are a few minutes walk from the front of the train station. In August because you have 5 days I might go for the Adagio because you have an outdoor pool there.

Yes, I'd go for the carnet of 10 adult tickets, it saves you 20% on buying single journey tickets as and when you need them. Your 5-year old is half price on the RER (I guess you could get a carnet of childrens tickets too if you asked at the manned ticket booths).

Yes I think it's the normal IBIS which is coming to just under £300 for the 5 days as it was the only one which came up but since then I've done a search for the budget one and that's coming up to about £200! I don't mind staying there but my husband is a bit of a snob so will have a quick think. You recommended Adagio for the pool but my LO isn't really one to be excited by a busy pool although I think it sounds nice! Argh decisions! Thank you.

lol just saw all the more recent replys to chotis orignal post so most of the info has already been given to you and in much more detail lol. seeing as your only deciding about hotels now i would definitely look on tripadvisor for that it really helps when you are trying to narrow down between different hotels.

Thanks for your help too. I have been looking on tripadvisor but it's hard to compare when they all have good reviews! I've noticed that you've asked questions which I'm interested in too. I've yet to buy the annual passes - I saw them at 125 euros only a couple of days ago! My daughter will just be 5 in August so also interested in trying to make the most for her. I had no idea you could go in the Disney hotels if you're not a guest there!

Will be keeping further tabs on you.. lol!

Yes you get 10% discount with an annual pass at the auberge princess meal.

If you can use the free childs annual passes then buy them from cemultiavantages or promoparcs as disney doesn't offer the free childs passes.

It doesn't matter where you are staying anyone can visit the public areas of all the onsite hotels - and anyone can pay to have breakfast at them too.

    Thank you.

The discount with an annual pass on onsite rooms is terrible - because they calculate the discount on the full rack rate of the rooms - which in may could start at over150 euros per night for the cheyenne or santa fe.
You could call disney now and ask them for the annual pass rate for your hotel and dates.
  • hi balletshoes

Thank you again for your reply. I have been looking on both on promoparcs and cemultiavantage not only has the price gone up but the free child pass also seems to have dissappeared :(. does anybody know of any other site that sell the annual passes that i can use. if not then hopefully if i hold out til the end of april they might have them on special again. Does anybody know how long it takes for the passes to get posted out to you?
  • Does anyone know where I can get the cheapest day tickets for students? I am planning to go for a day trip from central Paris. Does anyone know the best way to get there? Would the train be better, or is there a bus? We are 21 if this makes a difference.

Oh no :( looks like I've missed booking whilst the under 12's go free offer was on and now it only applies to under 7's, is there a chance there will be another offer like this for travel early June?
