  • We were there last year on St.Patricks day, they celebrate it big time and there's lots of green in the park. The St.Patricks day fireworks are amazing and well worth waiting for.
Thanks for your reply, but I guess they will not have St Patricks day fireworks this year because of Disney Dreams? I've read somewhere else that they also have a special 'mini parade' in the afternoon just before the main parade? From what Balletshoes has said, we won't find out exactly whats going on until just before we get there (or maybe on the day!)

I think this year they might incorporate some Emerald green into the Disney Dreams show on St Patricks Day :) - but you're right, it changes slightly each year, so you won't know whats going to go on until much closer to your travel date.

Does anyone know what time the ticket booths open when you have a voucher to collect park tickets?

some ticket booths are open from 8am, and they can exchange your vouchers :).
  • Thanks all for you help so far
Does anyone know please if it's possible to eat in the following buffet restaurants at about 6.00 PM
    Plaza Gardens
    Agrabah Cafe
    Restaurant des Stars
We are there in 17 - 21 March so the park will be closing at 8 I believe and the studios at 7

Plaza Gardens possibly, the other 2 will be a No, they will only be open for lunch (so until around 4pm latest).

You can phone the Disney dining reservation line now and they can tell you for sure, as you are now within 60 days of your visit to DLP. The number to call is 0033 160 304050 (phone a cheap discount dial number first to France to get the call for less than 1p per minute).
  • Thanks again Balletshoes you've confirmed what I thought
I have to ring them anyway as need to book Cafe Mickey as this is the only place doing character meals during our stay (apart from Inventions which is out of our price range I'm afraid!) We're staying at the Santa Fe so will definitely eat at their buffet one night, guess we are limited to other buffet restaurants in the hotels and poss The Grange in Disney Village? Will ask about Plaza, hopefully this will be open

you could always switch over your main meals on a couple of days, and have a buffet in the parks for lunch, then something counter service for dinner? There are usually a couple of counter service restaurants in the park open later than the table/buffet service ones are.

the rooms only are more expensive than a hotel/park tickets package at DLP because the rooms only don't get the discounts that the packages do. The rack rate (full price) of the rooms are posted on the back of the doors in your room - whichever onsite hotel you go to, have a look and go  at the price of them.

ie last time I looked, the Santa Fe (room only without park tickets included) was more than 130 euros per night, full price - and thats low season price. In August its the height of the high season so the room only prices will be crazy expensive.
