hey- looking at taking my children to DLP next feb half term (so we have a while to save!) they dont even have passports yet lol!
will be me, hubby, children will be 7 and 4.
have a quote of £879 for tickets and hotel from the dlp website, when i add transport the eurostar is £900- more than the hotel and tickets!
is there a cheaper way of travelling? we dont want to drive over there.
thanksStarted comping October 2011, no wins as of yet. Would really love to win a short uk break so we can take the children awayThank you to everyone who takes the times to post competitions and good luck:j

Hi again
Thank you so much balletshoes
Just had another look and unsure which hotel to go for. Between Hotel Cheyenne, Santa Fe (both same price) or Sequoia Lodge (£86 more for the 4 nights/5 day package). Our budget probably won't stretch to the others since we have to travel so far.
Which hotel is best and is it worth paying more for sequoia? My little one will just be 4 so although during the day we will mainly be out, we will probably just be in our room from 8.30ish (bedtime!).
Thanks again.
for £86 difference, I'd go for the Sequoia Lodge - its newly refurbished, has a swimming pool, and has better restaurants.0 -

book eurostar yourself directly with Eurostar - their fares for February next year aren't out yet, but phone Eurostar and ask them when those fares will be released, and ask them to put you on their contact list for your dates next year. Be aware - Eurostar have caught on to English half term holiday dates, so even if you book on the first day that the Eurostar seats become available, you might be paying over £100 return per person.
Don't book your travel through Disney, its always more expensive doing it that way. And don't book your hotel yet either - a good deal will come along for Feb 2014 towards the last 3 or 4 months of this year (I still expect there to be more offers for Feb this year yet).

thank you for your help- so would you reccommend not booking yet at all? only on the DLP it says 30 % off hotel and tickets for my dates which seems a really good price, as booking on disneylandparisdirect.com is £200 more. also, if i book the eurostar seperatley- would i then need to arrange transfers to our hotel?have only ever been abroad twice so am totally clueless im afraid! we have to go in term time as i work in the schoolStarted comping October 2011, no wins as of yet. if you're taking eurostar theres no transfers involved - the Eurostar comes into the train station at DLP itself, right next to the park gates and the free shuttle buses to each onsite hotel.
If you're booking for 4 nights or more, I'd wait - because this year's offer, which included Feb half term, was for 2 nights free if you booked 4 nights, plus all kids aged under 12 free.0 -

Definately agree with Balletshoes, I always stay at Sequoia Lodge. I would definately say that for 86GBP (which I only make 70GBP more...?) ti is worth paying for the Sequoia Lodge! Its that little bit closer...and I like the meals there too.Happy0 -
Hi everyone. I'm looking to take the family to Euro Disney the week beginning the 25th November. It would be myself and my partner and our twins who will be turning 3 at the start of December. Looking just now the prices seem not bad but I can't organise travel due to EasyJet and Eurostar not having the bookings open just now.
Would I get a better deal with Disney nearer the time or later this year or are the prices pretty competitive just now? We are looking at 2 nights 3 days but depending on flight times it might have to be 3 nights 4 days as the return flights with EasyJet seem to be around noon. So just trying to think more of the best way to get the most time.0 -

I think 3 nights/4 days is a perfect time for a DLP trip, and you should get a discount offer or one night free nearer the time if you keep an eye out for offers on the onsite hotels. You don't tend to get much discount at all on a 2-night only stay, the offers kick in at 3 nights or more.0
