That would be great - we are off from Sunday 26th May to 9th June so could depart anytime around then! 4 nights if possible. Many Thanks

it seems to be the flights which are making your trip expensive, I can't see anything with decent flight times for less than £500. It won't cost anything like that to take the Eurotunnel (from £88 return total), and you can use Tesco clubcard vouchers to pay for it I believe) -

    http://tickets.eurotunnel.com/booking/fare.asp

petrol/diesel for your journey down to Folkestone, then its about 3 hours on the French motorways from Calais to DLP. There are tolls on the French roads which come to around 40 euros total I believe, and as I said you could break up your journey by booking a travelodge or premier inn (look out for their sales) at Folkestone for the night before your Eurotunnel on the way out, and the night you come back too.

I'd book the Sequoia Lodge for Sunday 2nd June for 4 nights - that is £644 total for that check-in date, and has the 2 nights free deal :).

you should find all the links you need here for travel from CDG airport to DLP -

    Thank you for your help.

Because of cheaper flights, I might fly in the previous evening.

Can anyone recommend any cheap hotels (one room for 3) between CDG and DLP or close to either?

    Thanks in advance

If you are flying in the night before, I'd always recommend transferring to as close to DLP as you can that night, get all your travelling out of the way on that first day :).

There are 4 very nearby hotels to DLP, with free shuttles to the parks - they are the Kyriad, Dream Castle, Magic Circus, and Explorers. Loads of travel sites sell these hotels, so have a look and see what you can get a room for.

Val d'europe is only one 5-minute local train stop away from DLP, very easy and convenient for DLP and the hotels/apartments are cheaper there. Again, check travel sites for val d'europe or disneyland paris hotels, also the Ibis hotel site, there are several in the area including the Ibis budget at val d'europe which is very close to the train station and absolutely fine for one night. The Resid'home apartments, hotel L'Elysee, and Adagio apartments are all very close to the train station at val d'europe too.
  • Just wondering though if anyone knew what is going on 23-27Th March. Saw an advert for extra free dates that Disney Land are offering and it excludes these dates.

I checked all school holidays for neighbouring countries and thought it might be nice and quiet there!!

    Anyone know why? Thanks!

Hi, looking for some advice on dlp, wanting to do a 4 night 5 day trip. For 2 adults, 3 kids age (1y, 4y & 7 years but will b 8y in may).
Want to do it in our school time and avoid the overseas holiday so hopefully it will b less busy ( so looking at the current offers it is. 2 days and nights free ends soon, also includes stay and play free for under 12 y).
Is the normal offer for under 7 free or under 8. Bit confused with it.
Want to fly from Newcastle, only air France? Currently flying there so flights are approx £149 each.
Think the Santa Fe is where we will be staying after checking prices out.
Would ideal like to do this after 7 y old bday as it should be warmer for youngest. But if it would be cheaper would do April.
    Open on dates?
    Tia

usually the under-12s free deal is only for the period January to March each year, sometimes DLP brings out this deal again on flash sales, but then obviously theres no guarantee that they will bring this out for dates you're interested in.

Do you mean you want to go in your school holiday time, or outside it (ie in termtime)?

The normal kids free deal is for kids aged under 7 (so age 6 when you are at DLP) so after the end of March (when the free under-12s deal ends) your 7-year old won't qualify for a free kids place.

If your flights are £149 each, you'd be a lot cheaper driving and using the ferry or Eurotunnel for 4 of you. I posted a reply a little further up this page to michellemarshall, she's from the same neck of the woods as you are by the looks of things :).

Thanks ballet shoes for the response, wanting to go during termtime,(taking kids out of school for it) defo flying no chance of driving.
So if I waited and no offer came about making 7 y free how much extra r we talking than if I booked under the offer
  • Hi BalletShoes

Just to let you know that I have now booked the holiday using the options that you gave. Thanks for all your help :T.

My daughter is 4 years old, is there any particular rides/attractions that we should take her on or even avoid?

    Thanks

its not that simple I'm afraid - it depends on the time of year you want, the day of the week you check in etc.

However, if your 7-year old isn't free, you'll probably be looking at around £120 (the price of a child's 5-day park hopper ticket or annual pass) on top of the current offer - but as I said, the prices change anyway as above.

every child is different - but I would avoid the Snow White ride in Fantasyland, its not about Snow White at all, its about the Wicked Stepmother as the Hag and its a dark ride.

Pinocchio is also a dark ride, if she's not familiar with the story I'd avoid that one too.

Apart from that, I'd say everything she is tall enough for, she'll be fine at :). Don't forget the shows in the Studios - most of them are geared towards younger children.
