Any best places for Eurostar? (I have tried to search the thread, but its not working on my phone for some reason?)

I've just booked my Eurostar journey this morning. I went thru Quidco as well but not sure if they're doing cashback.

To answer my last question about Print At Home option, I spoke to them and they said it's only available on straight journeys.
  • Sorry - nothing related to this thread but I've just seen your sig... and really, you should be using google yourself :rotfl:

Ok still not booked, I see offers that if you book before the end of this month you save like 30% or something.

I would like to go next March with the misses and our lad of 10 years.

The English site says 30% but if i put the dates into the French site it states 40% saving and works out to about £70 cheaper using http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert/?Amount=378&From=EUR&To=GBP website to work out conversion.

So confused do I book now or wait, will there be more offers nearer the time. Never been before in fact not been abroad for 20 years, doh!!!

    Please help advice needed.

Is the Eurodisney site generally the cheapest site to book on?
    Best onsite hotel for value?

    Kelly

Surprisingly, that's what I thought too but try Expedia as well as I got mine thru Expedia and it was around euros20 cheaper or something like that. And someone mentioned cashback if done thru Quidco as well
  • Sequoia Lodge is similar to breakfast in the park, but you can also ask for a plate of hot breakfast items to be served to you. I think its around 4 euros for this, its not buffet, its a plate of egg, bacon, sausage I think.

The Disneyland Hotel one - oh my goodness its amazing :D. We treat ourselves at least once a visit to breakfast here. Its a full hot and cold buffet, too many items to list, but includes premium cold meats and cheeses, various types of cooked egg, sausage, crispy bacon, tomatoes, fried cube potatoes, cereals, pastries (much more varied range than the other hotels), waffles, yoghurts, fresh fruit and fresh fruit salad, plus fresh fruit juices. Your hot drinks are waiter service, proper coffee/chocolate/tea pots, no drinks machines here :).
It costs 14 euros per adult for the DLH breakfast, 6 euros per child, under 3s free, and if you have an annual pass or shareholders card, you get a discount.

We usually go after 9.30am, make it late breakfast/brunch, then we don't need anything else to eat until dinner time.

Oooooo yummy, thank you!!! DLH - Do you need to book or can you just roll up?

no you can't book, you just go to the restaurant and say you'd like to pay for breakfast.
  • We are now staying at Newport Bay Club instead of santa fe...Had a quick look at rstransports but it doesn't list the NBC as a dropoff point?

it doesn't matter, when you book your transfer with them just pick either the Sequoia Lodge or the Hotel New York, then you can email them once you've confirmed, to say its the Newport Bay Club. They are all next to each other.
  • balletshoes you are a legend.

My son is a Cars fanatic, do you think its worth dropping into Santa Fe (and saving a packet!). We have stayed at the Cheyenne before and thought that was good... I presume its of a similar standard given the prices are exactly the same?

yes, as I said to Kel I think on the previous page, they are very similar in facilities etc, its just the theme which is different. The fully refurbed rooms in the Santa Fe have loads of Cars touches, bedspreads, lamps, bathroom mirrors, wallpaper borders, pictures etc.

Have a google for Santa Fe Disneyland Paris room photographs, and you should see what I mean :).

eta - I still think Sequoia Lodge, now that its fully refurbed, would be a great choice for a winter break though! If its mostly for the adults, go for Sequoia Lodge. If its mostly for your 5-year old, go for the Santa Fe.

Is it fully refurbed or would we run the risk of getting a room without the cars theme?
