ahhh was going to book on expedia last week for 3 nights in august at just under £500 for 2 adult and 2 children and have checked back now and its almost double does anywhere know where i can book for a bit cheaper? any help would be great thanks
how old are your children, did you book for park tickets included, and what dates in August?0 -
We are staying in Brittany during the summer holidays and I am trying to work out if a visit to Disneyland Paris is a possibility. The nearest train station to where we are staying is in Lannion, but I am really confused with all the websites.
Can somebody please help.
Thanks in advance.0 -
it looks like you would go to Paris Nord first -

this part of the journey typically looks like one hour 30 minutes one way.
then Paris gare de lyon to DLP (marne la vallee chessy) -

this part looks like around 40 minutes one way.
and this site should help with your timings etc on how to get between the 2 Paris stations -

it does all look a bit of a long journey from Brittany by train, hopefully someone else can find a faster way of doing it for you.0 -
Hi,
I am planning to take my kids (4&2) to DLP with some money I've inherited in the middle of August (busy busy I know but am a teacher and we're already in France then so will save on transport).
Am a little overwhelmed by hotel choice - looking for something mid-range but not sure if it's worth spending more on a themed place (Dream Castle etc.) or whether it might be better to give the kids a break from the madness and stay somewhere quieter as they are v young still (self-catering?). How much will we actually use the facilities if we are in the parks all day? Will have car so don't necc. need shuttle bus etc. Any recommendations much appreciated, or tips for good deals.0 -
in July, with the ages of your children, I'd say go for self-catering. There are lots of apartments in the val d'europe or bussy st george areas. What were you thinking of doing regarding your park tickets, and how many days were you thinking of visiting the parks?0

Hi,
Thanks, that was my feeling, and is also cheaper. We are going to do 2 days in the parks and stay 3 nights (arriving late the night before and leaving the day after). I was just going to buy tickets on the main website but great if you know of any better deals?
Which area is nicer - val d'europe or bussy st george? Would like somewhere that we can find a decent place to eat the night we arrive and buy food for breakfasts etc.
Any tips for the best things to see for younger kids? They are both crazy about Cars and Toy Story. The car stunt show looks great - would you have to book in advance?0 -
the stunt show is an attraction like all the other shows in the parks, so you can't book in advance for it (but its shown 2 or 3 times a day, every day). It has a large capacity and I've never heard of anyone not being able to see it when they chose to.
If you ask on DISboards for the best price for your 2-day tickets you'll get lots of help there, the gate price is generally the most expensive price, there are usually discounted tickets around on various legitimate websites.
val d europe is probably your best bet as it has a large Auchan hypermarket and a shopping mall too, plus lots of restaurants etc, cheaper than eating at Disney.0 -

I highly recommend the Dream Castle and its away from all the madness.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
