Thanks ballet shoes, could I just ask you to clarify what the main AP office is? Thanks for your help, I *think* that by the time we check in, grab passes, eat something for dinner, Maybe a cheeky look round then we will have any early night so were up for 6, breakfast at 7 and then hit the park for 8. Not that I am planning...........much lol!Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0

Has anyone else tried to book flights through the Disneyland Paris website? And had problems?
I tried yesterday to book the bank holiday weekend for myself and my daughter and included transportation - flights with Air France from Newcastle. I put in my debit card details and clicked confirm. A message then said that they were unable to book the flights and that my account had not been charged. I tried again with slightly different flight times (although the same flights were still shown as available) only to get the same message.
Now, though, I have no money available in my bank account!
Turns out that Disney have asked for payment, my bank (Bank of Scotland) have put the funds into 'pending' or something. Because Disney now don't want the payment, the money just stays there! Disney claim its the banks fault, the bank says it Disney's (for once, I believe the bank!) To get my money released again, I've had to arrange for Disney to send a fax to my bank to say they don't want the money after all. Why they can't do that off their own back defeats me. They're quick enough to take the money off customers.
The same thing happened to me in 2010, which is why I know what's wrong this time. I feel like a real numpty for getting caught out again. So surely it isn't just me having this problem. Has it happened to anyone else? Anyone got any redress from them? Why should I be sorting out a problem with their system? How can they request payment for something that they can't give me?0 -
balletshoes wrote: »even better than your original plan - you can order your fantasy annual passes before you go, on multiavantges or promoparcs, get a free annual pass for your daughter, and change them for your permanent laminated annual passes at the main AP office on your first day
. If you're arriving at around 5pm, you will still have about 6 hours park time to enjoy on your first day
.
Just had a look on multiavantges & promoparcs but they're both in french and I don't understand what to do - sorry in advance if thats really thick!?
Edited to add I have done a google translate and it's asking me to join club promo parks for 14 euros is that what I should do? xSpreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0 -
Yes, if the annual pass offers that you want (ie free child's pass when you buy an adult pass) are there, you need to pay the one joining fee of 14 euros for promorparcs, or 20 euros for multiavantages.0

wow, i cant possibly read all this!!!! hehe
right a few questions,
im thinking about taking the missus away - possibly to disneyland paris for the bonfire night celebrations..... as a nice treat.
are they as good as the hype lets you think??
where would you reccomend staying, is it worth going for the disneyland hotel - or should i try to save cash.........
also a rough price for 2/3 nights would be great - if i can get it at a nice price - its going to happen!
assuming its worth going for 2 adults0 -
you should be able to go on the official disneyland paris website and look for prices for the bonfire dates (they are in early November this year). Bear in mind though, this year DLP will be very busy all through the bonfire dates, because all the French schools have school holidays from 27th October right through to 7th November.
The bonfire fireworks are pretty impressive - 30 minutes of musically-choreographed fireworks over Lake Disney with light and laser projections on the hot air balloon thats anchored there. This is a free event (ie it takes place outside the parks) so lots of locals come to watch it.0 -
I can't see any annual passports on offer on either site.
I've copied this from a DISboards thread, says the free kids annual passes came back into effect from 20th April?
