i need 2 day passes for 2 adults & 3 children,
2400 avios for 1 day pass for 2 adults & 1 child
£327 for 1 day pass 2 adults, 1 child & 2 day pass for 2 children
hope that makes sense x without using avios it would cost me £4600 -
Can you go to the shops and restaurants at Disney without entering the park because we land at the airport after 4pm and I don't want to use the tickets for part of a day, if that makes sense?!?0

I'm pretty sure you can get into Disney Village without a ticket. There's only 1 shop there though but lots of restaurants and bars0

We are thinking of going for a 4 night/5 day stay in Davy Crocket Ranch. We have 3 children (4 and 2x5yo) so hotels are quite restrictive and we want to have extra room/cooking and free time in the evenings
Staying at Davy Crocketts means we would have to have a car so we are looking at driving from Birmingham (and ferry via Dover/Calais).
Has anyone done this as a car journey rather than flights/bus/trains. Is there a best way/time of driving over and is it a good idea to stay over somewhere on the way (google suggets its an 8 hour trip).0 -

yes you can - and you can still get some great Disney magic in the Village. Cafe Mickey is there (fabulous character interaction restaurant) and so is the huge Disney store.

before you go changing your avios and spending so much on park tickets, maybe it would be a good idea to ask about any cheap tickets sites here -

you'll get loads of great advice from others who have bought park entry tickets for one or 2 days.

Decided last minute to take the wife and my kids all under 7 for one day only to dlp, been there before, drove and stayed in a hotel but this time short of funds so want to drive and arrive in the morning and drive back later that day, so what are the current cheapest ticket sites please. It's a jungle out there in terms of prices and offers.0

FNAC has one day tickets from €35-€41 (one park) or €45-€51 (both parks) depending on your dates. Not sure if they are the absolute cheapest or not but we just bought tickets to the Buffalo Bills show from them with no problems.
If you're a Sky TV customer you can get two free adult tickets (1 day / 2 park) but not sure how much availability they have left.0 -
Other possible sources of tickets if your dates fit would be Promoparcs or CE Multiavantages - see the disboards thread here.
€35 adult / €30 child for 2 days admission, the first between 14th May and 13th July, the second between 16th August and 30th September...would be especially good if there is any chance of you making another day trip later in the year but if not I don't see why you can't just use the first day and discard (or sell / give away depending on whether they have names on & require ID) the second.
Both sites require a €15 joining fee on top of ticket prices.
Personally if I lived close enough to make a day trip by car an option, I would be tempted to get the €99 annual passes from CE Multiavantages (1 free pass for a child under 7 free with each adult so only €50 each for 4 of you) but appreciate that if funds are tight this is not the absolute cheapest option.0
