  • Think we are going to go in September.
Have found cheap flights but they arrive in Paris about 10.00pm so was wondering if anyone could advise on transfers

Also would be spending 4 days in parks (2 adults & 2 children) and have seen a lot about annual passes, what would be the best tickets for us to get for 4 days in the parks?

    Thanks

for a 10pm flight you'd be relying on a private or shared shuttle, have a look at the ezyshuttle.com or rstransports websites for prices.

yes, for 4 days, and as long as your dates are not blackout for fantasy passes, fantasy annual passes would be ideal for you. check cemultiavantages for their best deals (children in your party between the ages of 3 and under 7 get a free annual pass for each adult one bought with them). DLRPmagic has lots of great information about annual passes :).

the California Grill in the Disneyland Hotel would fit the bill, followed by cocktails in the Fantasia Bar there :). You don't have to be a guest to dine or use the bar etc in any of the onsite hotels, including the Disneyland Hotel. Have a look on the DLRPfoodguide to see a sample menu, idea of prices etc.
  • Thanks for that, my head is spinning with all the different options!!

Ive just looked at booking direct with disney and it comes out at £882 with hotel and tickets for all of us for 4 days 5 nights even though when i priced it up on travel replublic is wasent far off that with tickets on top adding another £500. Does that seem right? Just making sure they are full tickets for both parks and theres no catches. If that is the case think ill go ahead and book and just buy some cheap flights

Hi we went and had out valentines meal at the silverspur steakhouse that was a good meal. A very special meal was the princess lunch but that was expensive, very nice lol. Dont forget you can pay for a birthday cake, very yummy serves about 8 people. I had my birthday meal at cowboy cookout (kids loved it in there) and had Micky mouse bring out my cake and help me blow out my candles

how old are your children? and which dates are you looking for in September? there may be other options for you which might significantly reduce your price, whilst still staying onsite.

    Hi

Basically fairly open on dates as not booked time off yet. The kids will be 15 & 7 in September. Have been looking at 17th-21st at Santa Fe which on Disney site comes out at £882 with tickets. Only downside is we live in Chester so easiest way to get there is to fly but cheapest flight is easyjet but it dosent arrive until 9.25pm on the 17th but we would still get 4 full days there. Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks

okay bitsandbobs, heres your other options -

if you want to stay onsite, you could book one adult into a package at the Cheyenne for your dates (its got 40% off and so is cheaper than the Santa Fe, plus its got bunk beds as standard in the rooms so that would probably suit your family better). This one-adult package (hotel room plus park hopper ticket for one adult for 5 days) is £449. Then, you join cemulitavantages and buy 3 fantasy annual passes (I've checked DLRPmagic and you don't have any blackout dates in the period 17th-21st September). This would cost around £296, giving you a total of £745 for your trip.
There is no problem at all doing this at onsite hotels, I've done it myself, and its a very common thing for annual passholders to do. All you do is phone the hotel a few days before you are going to say you will be checking in another 3 guests into your room when you arrive. All you then have to pay (if at all, I wasn't asked for anything extra) is local tax of a maximum of 2 euros per guest per night.

or, if you want a hotel with a pool but are not bothered about staying onsite, travelrepublic have the Explorers hotel for your dates, bed and breakfast for £320. buy 4 fantasy annual passes from cemulitavantages, this is around £390. so a total of £710 for your hotel and park tickets.

with annual passes you also get discounts on shopping and eating in the DLP resort, which can add up to a fair amount ;).
