  • Hi

Basically fairly open on dates as not booked time off yet. The kids will be 15 & 7 in September. Have been looking at 17th-21st at Santa Fe which on Disney site comes out at £882 with tickets. Only downside is we live in Chester so easiest way to get there is to fly but cheapest flight is easyjet but it dosent arrive until 9.25pm on the 17th but we would still get 4 full days there. Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks

Have you checked the Easyjet flights on every day of the week if your dates are flexible? In March, the Saturday flight from Liverpool is at 7:15am compared to much later in the evening the rest of the week...not sure it would be that much benefit for a DLP trip as it'd mean arriving at the weekend, but maybe something to look into to give you a bit more time there.

Arrrggg not long to go for us! 14th of March.

Just a quick question, its my DD birthday on 14th of March and while we can;t afford any of the character dinners, I'm wondering if you can book a table and a cake somewhere?

A friend mentioned it and I didn't realise you could do this.

Has anyone done this and do you ring and book before you get there or on arrival? She will be 6 so I'm not sure what resturant would be good?

    Any advice

if you can afford to eat in any of the table/buffet service restaurants at DLP, you can afford a character dinner at Cafe Mickey, as you can order pizza etc to share there :). Even if you ordered 2 pizzas there (they are huge) and a soft drink each it wouldn't cost more than 50 euros tops. Even the cheapest table service restaurants set menu is 50 euros for 2 adults and one child, and you'd have your adults drinks to pay for on top of that. Where did your friend suggest?

You'd only be able to order a birthday cake to be brought out at a table or buffet service restaurant, you can't do it for any of the counter service places.

Cafe Mickey with a birthday cake, for your daughter's age, is perfect in my opinion - she'll absolutely love it :).

The cake costs £22 (or 25 euros) - you can either add it to your existing Disney booking before you go, or your can order it at City Hall at least a day before you want it, and pay for it when you pay for your meal.

    Afternoon,

Quick question for those of you who have been to DLP recently. Which of the cheaper restaurants would you recommend? Roughly going to be doing 1 day in DLP, 1 in Studios, would be great to do a lunch in the relative parks, and then a meal in the evening - either in the parks or the Village (we're easy!). Don't mind if the 'main' meal is lunchtime or evening (we're v flexible), doesn't need to be any character lunches or anything like that. Cheap, but decent, and we'll hav e a 2 year old with us.

I know thw DLP magic site has loads of menus and prices on there but there's SO much I could be there for hours! lol So I thought I'd ask for recommendations first.

Has anyone tried the ratatouille restaurant?

    Thanks

I try and visit Restaurant des Stars every trip we have to DLP, I think its fabulous value for money (adults have unlimited hot drinks included in the price here).

And little Remy is very cute :).
  • Fancied seeing Paris itself for a day trip, as flying there would need to either use bus or train, whats best way to get there and are there any organised trips from disney?
