    CHEAP PLACES TO STAY:

We have to just booked a hotel (The French equivalent) of Travelodge called Hotel F1 hotelF1 Marne la Vall!e Meaux Esbly hotel, very basic rooms but at the end of the day you pay for what you get £28 per night. Check the reviews out on Trip Advisor.....

Just got our 2 free tickets from Sky, looking forward to seeing the smile on my 6 years olds face :)

HI I got free tickets to DLP for the 29th May. I was thinking me and my daughter who is 3 years old could go and stay for 2 nights starting 28th May. However travel and hotel are £550+ is there a cheaper way of doing this. I cant drive...
what mode of travel is that and what hotel?

be cheaper to book accom and travel separately yourself

travel republic have good rates on offsite hotels ( served by shuttles to the parks )
  • Hi all

Just got back here myself, Yes saw the brownies they where down the hall from us in explorers talked to one of the leaders on the bus myself.

About disabled guests, can I say that they cant be more helpfull, my little boy has asd, and we got a exit pass, never had to queue, special place to stand for parades, when the charectures where out the cast member would bring them straight over to us, so my kids autograph books are full.

We had a great time, explorers is basic but good, didnt use the facilities much as we where out most days till gone 8 and then the kids went straight to sleep.

We found if you get the bus into the parks about 8.30-9am then they are very quiet, yes you wait a bit at the park, but the staff where great with the kids, on thursday one was playing blind mans buff and grandmothers footsteps with them.

We found the half board very worthwhile and would do it again, I had pre booked all the meals but we ended up doing cowboy cookout 3 times as my boy is obssesed with woody, on friday we paid for the cake, yum yum as its my birthday this week lol.

The princess lunch though expensive was worth it, me and my daughter where in there for 2 hrs, the food was wonderfull and the princess made a big fuss of her and took plenty of time at the table, she met cinderella, prince charming, perla and suzie mice, Belle and tiana at the dinner.

My oldest son, not special needs, had his week made when he got mary poppins autograph lol.

So now planning next trip, think we will do 3 nights instead of 5 as with the pass we did some rides to death, love peter pan but 3-5 times a day and it gets a bit too much.

Has anyone been recently on The Sun offer, as I just wanted to check how it went. I am booked to go out on Saturday 10th March, stay at Davy Crockett ranch and then entry into the park on Sunday 11th March, catching the late ferry home that night. I was thinking about getting tickets for the Saturday as well. Has anyone done this?

Anyone looking to go in May or June, Expedia have some great looking deals on at the moment with 40% off e.g. 5 days / 4 nights for 2 adults in Sequoia Lodge for £614 with park tickets included...price on the DLP website is £900+ for the same dates with the current offer. Cheyenne £547 for the same dates vs around £750 booked with DLP direct.

Just picked some random dates 04/06 to 08/06 to have a look after reading this on another forum but there are similar prices on many other days (mainly midweek I think) up until about mid-June. Not over the long jubilee weekend though unfortunately but thought this might still be useful for some.

EDIT: Thought I'd try the same dates with 2 adults + 1 child out of interest...the price more than doubles! Not sure if there's a way around this but may mean the offer is less good than it looks for the more typical DLP visitor with kids in tow. You can tell I don't have any little ones, only ever think to search for 2 adults :)
  • hi guys im considering doing disneyland this year and have been on their website and got a price of 1,821 this includes everything.would i be able to get it cheaper anywhere else with the park tickets, flights etc
    thanks in advance

Just because I was curious, I checked with 1 adult + 1 child and the prices are still good.

If the dates work for you, it is possible to book the room + ticket package for the minimum number of people (so 2 adults or 1 adult + 1 child in this case) then buy tickets separately (annual passes maybe) for the others in your party, add them to the booking later and only pay a few € in additional room taxes. I would say almost certainly you can get it a lot cheaper than that. How many in your party, how many adults, how many children, ages of children? How many days and what dates are you looking at? Which hotel do you want, or are you flexible with this?
