and just to add something else into the mix - if you think you'll spend £450 on just dinners, and will be buying souvenirs etc, you might find it worthwhile buying shares in Eurodisney. 20 shares will cost you around £75, and you get loads of great discounts with a shareholders card, including 15% off most table and buffet service meals at DLP, 15% discount on almost all your souvenir purchases at DLP, 10% discount on shopping at Disney stores in the UK, and access to Salon Mickey at DLP every morning of your trip if you like, for your whole party :).

There are some great information threads on DISboards, DIBB etc, about shareholders club discounts, how to join, how to buy your shares, etc etc.

If you decide to get shares, you might also be able to get the initial price of your holiday down too. Get crunching those numbers lol!

I'd say not. Just take the money with you in euros, that way you are not restricted to the restaurants on the meal plans. Eat at buffet service restaurants - as your 2 year old is free at all of those at DLP.

Just booked our first trip to DLP at the end of March - have done WDW many times before and visited DL California for the first time in September so looking forward to seeing how Paris compares!

This isn't our main holiday so trying to do it on as tight a budget as possible - so far I think we're doing ok after a lot of trawling round on the internet and reading through this thread:

Easyjet flights to CDG £158 total for the two of us including taxes etc & one checked bag between us
3 nights at Santa Fe for £149 inc breakfast (less 10% cashback) via Expedia
1 day tickets for Tues 27/03 with the Sun deal for £14.50 inc online booking fee...obviously we are not planning to use the ferry crossing, hope that works out ok!

Now need to find a cheap but decent hotel in Paris (if such a thing exists - any suggestions?!) for a couple of nights before we head to Disney and then I think we're all set, so excited!!

Just a quick question...I have saved enough of the Sun tokens to book a second 'day trip' to DLP which I want to use on the Wednesday. I think I've seen others mention doing this before, but I'm wondering how best to get around the one per household rule? The day I've booked so far is in my husband's name at our home address - will it be sufficient to book the other in my name at my parents address or will they twig that it's the same two people booking because both with have the same names, DOBs etc on the booking forms? I think I'm being a bit paranoid but don't want anything getting cancelled if they catch me out!!

Just booked DLP hotel for June half term (3rd to 7th). DH and I have been to Florida (pre-children) but the kids (7 and 9) and my mum have never been to Disney so they will be so excited!

We're staying at the Adagio Aparthotel. Seemed like the best place to give us all a bit of privacy at night. Was gutted this morning when the Disney site said there were no rooms left (and told myself I should have booked last week instead of procrastinating!) but then found it cheaper on accorhotels.com, with flexible cancellation, even taking into account buying the tickets separately.

Now we need to decide how to get there from Reading. The Air France flights are coming in at £631 for nice departure times (a priority for all of us!). This has already gone up by about £50 since last week.

We also want to consider Eurostar but the bookings don't open until either 90 or 120 (can't quite work out which) days before travel. By then the flight will probably be a lot more expensive so if we don't book it now we're more or less committing ourselves to Eurostar. (We don't want to drive - the kids would go mad being in the car for that long).

Has anyone got any advice about how much Eurostar tickets are likely to be when they do become available? If we wanted to travel in the next couple of weeks, we could save quite a bit by being willing to change at Lille, but obviously that might be a different matter in the Summer.

    Any advice gratefully received.
  • Hi, we are going for the first time in January, just for a day trip. How do I go about planning what we will do, is there a website that can help? With only one day I need to be as organised as possible!
Both my girls (age 2 and 4) are big Pooh bear fans and the oldest has said she would like to meet him (or at least see him). Is there anything good for Pooh Bear fans?

    Thanks!

I would phone Eurostar now - although online prices sometimes aren't available until 3 months before travel (but sometimes 6 months in advance) you can usually book by phone much earlier than this. The earlier you book Eurostar, the cheaper the price will be.
