Vicki if it helps, my quietest trips to DLP have been in November midweek (and avoiding the 11th, as thats a French public holiday). I was there midweek 2 weeks ago, I was there in mid-November one year, around the 17th, and I have also been there midweek at the very beginning of December. All were very quiet, walk-ons for most rides, especially at 10am and an hour or so before the parks closed. We were on the Parachute Drop ride 3 times in a row at 10am 2 weeks ago :).

That's good to know, thank you.

I may have to arrange a Christmas trip next year! :j

    Early to mid January.

It's VERY cold and it pays to check which rides will be closed for maintenance, but there is no queues for anything.

The longest we have queued was the parachute ride in Toy Story land - we had to wait 15 minutes for that once.

Other times we just stayed on - we had three rides worth by staying on one day.

Would you go again at that time of year? We are going from 10-13 January next year, which is mid week. I'm hoping it'll be really quiet as I can't bear the thought of huge queues for everything, and we've been warned it's really cold so I've been kitting us out in readiness, we're going to be like little Nanuk's of the North!! I just hope there aren't too many rides closed for maintenance. And I was a bit disappointed to find out that Buffalo Bill's isn't open on Thursdays, because that's my birthday when we're there and I'd hoped to do that on the night :(.

    Jx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

Yep, we're going on the 8th for our fourth January trip, so will be there the same time - we return on the 11th. :D

There is definitely no queues and we like it that way.

DD wears a ski suit and that keeps her snug all day. Also means she can sit on the pavement while waiting for the parade. :)

We make sure we take hats and gloves. Last year, I wore a pair of thick tights under my trousers which helped a lot.

You can find out the closures on DLRP. Small World is closed when we are there, which is a pain as I love it.

I think Buzz was closed the week after...

  • if you have a look on the website -

    http://www.rstransports.com/

it looks like it would be a total of 88 euros for all of you, return journey, shared shuttle, with a suitable car seat for your little one.

I can't remember if we gave flight times - we were a little early for our agreed pick-up time so I gave them a call and they arrived within a few minutes. rstransports works out of CDG so they won't ever be far away from you :).

they have always been very helpful in my experience, I've used them 3 times now and they've always been punctual and driven us safely to DLP (oh, and we've paid shared shuttle price twice and not had to share at all).

thank you so much for the advise hun , i will book it tomorrow eve ! i am so excited now !! xx

    sorry for more questions......

we are flying to dlp next monday and back friday eve for dd's 4th birthday . we drove last year and could take what we wanted so had lots of choice of clothes and as it was snow was a no brainer ! this year we are just taking 3hand luggage cases and i really dont know what to pack !! all prepared with snow boots and snow suit for dd and i think if we take them we will boil !!

what would you all take ?

wore my uggs last year big mistake by last day were water logged and had to wear dlp carrier bags on my feet to keep them dry so dont really want to make that mistake again !

also if i do get it completely wrong are there any clothes shops near dlp i could grab some bits at ?

also is it worth booking our princess lunch before we go ? and is it amazing ? plan this for dd birthday before we travel home

    thank you all xx
