Thanks for the advice everyone!
I saw our Dr yesterday for something completely unrelated and she agreed to write a one line letter to confirm that he has been officially diagnosed with autism. Will also take his DLA letter and the original DX letter from 2006. I don't receive carers allowance as I earn over the limit0 -

Going to Disneyland Paris in a few weeks. Our son is 3, how strict are they on enforcing the age limit for tickets? Obviously if we can get him in without paying it would be a big saving for us, and we'd probably be able to go for two days instead of one.
If he is sitting in his pushchair when you go through the gates they will never notice, never saw anyone get stopped.
i went in may, we were asked for id for our son (who was 2 1/2 then and was in a pushchair).0 -

Help! I'm currently planning a trip to DisneyLand Paris for me and my 6 year old niece in February 2011 and my mum has offered to pay for the tickets with her Clubcard points. Having read the terms and conditions I just noticed that the tickets will be printed with her name on it! Will this be an issue and will they ask for ID?
My niece is also registered disabled and would have problems standing in line for hours (we plan to go to the parks on a Sunday and Monday) so would I be better getting disabled tickets on the door if these are still available? (No mention of this on the DLP website?!)
Any help would be greatly appreciated! We're coming from Aberdeen so getting there isn't going to be cheap!Saving Pennies, Losing pounds0 -
Hi, ive never been been asked for ID just tickets. I would def get a pass as it will make things easierWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

Hiya
Can anyone answer this for me please? How expensive are we talking for an evening meal for example a burger and chips type thing with drink and pudding? I have booked today for April and need to know whether to upgrade to a half board package, in total for 3 of us plus infant for 4 nights it would be an extra 200 quid. Am thinking 50 quid a night for a meal for 4 is pretty good but just wanted to check...
Many thanks

I did half board last time and will do the same when we go in January.
It takes the pressure off if you are on a budget as you can have a good breakfast and know you can have a good evening meal later in the day.
Spending can get alarming once you are there and I found it easier to know the money in my pocket wasn't needed for essentials iykwim?
We liked the all you can eat buffets as we could all have what we wanted and dd loved choosing her own food.0 -

Half board packages don't actually save you any money over paying in the resort these days, and the vouchers are not accepted in every restaurant either (ie you can't use them in any of the counter service restaurants, or in most of the restaurants in The Village). If you have a look for DLP menus online (Magic Kingdom and DLRP food guide will give you an idea of prices etc) you can plan where would suit you best, and how much it will cost.
If you do want to pay for your main dinner in advance, and don't want to have to take money/credit card with you for those, then the half board packages do make sense from a purely budgeting point of view. But I'd advise you to check where you can use them and for what kind of food, before you add them to your Disney booking.0 -
Hi
Is anyone flying to Paris this week? Just wondering what the delays are likely to be with the air traffic control strikes?
We are flying Jet2 Leeds Bradford on Wednesday.0
