    Hi Kaz,
We just booked it, from Yorkshire for me, wife and three kids.
Travel agent quoted us £2,400 for four days (3 nights) in a hotel just outside the Disneyland Paris resort.
I booked everything direct online, including BMI Baby flights from East Midlands airport, taxi transfer to the Magic Circus hotel, FIVE days (FOUR nights) in hotel, five-day passes included for all of us, and parking at east Midlands airport for the car. All in was £1,400 - saved a grand!!
All it took was some time on Google and a few phone calls. Go for it!

The Magic Circus is fab, you will love it !!

hi going to dlp in august 10 (2 aults and 2 c 6 & 3) , do we need to prebook resterants and how do we do this ? also how easy is it to upgrade hotel staying in sequioa lodge but thinkin of upgrading.

Hi just thought I would let you know we arrived back from DLP on Friday and stayed at the sequioa lodge. We stayed in the yellowstone lodge and I must say I am glad we didnt upgrade. The building was smaller so very quiet, a 20 second walk to reception, close to the pool. Some of the rooms in the main building looked quite far from reception, oh and the walk to reception was pretty much sheltered the whole way. HTH

Thought i'd let people know of the deal i just booked for the Disneyland Hotel, seemed like quite a saving.

I went through topcashback to expedia.co.uk and found 3 nights including all of stay park passes, continental breakfast and free parking in the Disneyland Hotel (17th - 20th Aug) cost: £1326.51
    cash back: £159.24

    £1326.51 - £159.24 = total £1162.27

It wasn't too busy but would definately recommened booking breakfast between 7:30-7:45, as we didnt have to queue. We actually ate all of our main meals in Planet Hollywood as this worked out the best value for us. Kids-main meal, desert and drink 11.25 euros. For lunch we bought food from the newsagents then took it back to the hotel to eat. Oh and for snacks we made some baguettes at breakfast time and gave these to the kids, saved lots of money doing that! HTH

Just wondered where you are staying and if you are going half board or not?
  • Just wondering if there was an easy way to pre-book meal times. We are going half board and wonder if we need to book breakfast and/or dinner? Also if anyone can give us an idea of the waiting times in restaurants if you dont book in advance?

Does anyone know if you can leave your bags on the first and last day while you are in the parks?

    Many thanks

You will get your choice of timeslot for breakfast when you check in at your hotel, you can't do that in advance of then.

For dinner reservations, apart from Cafe Mickey which does get busy and is adviseable to book ahead for, if you're going to DLP outside of high season, or midweek, you will be fine waiting until you get to your hotel, where you can book each restaurant you want at reception there. You can also book at City Hall in the main park, or if you really want to do it before you reach DLP, you can call the Disney Dining number up to 60 days before you get to DLP, on 0033 160 304050.

Yes, you can leave your bags at your hotel on your check-in and check-out days. All onsite hotels have baggage storage areas for this purpose :).

Just left Disneyland Paris after 4 days, 3 nights stay. It was FANTASTIC.

If I can offer some advice to people going this is it...

Get the meal plan. Plus or Premium. The restuarants in DLP are expensive if you dont.

Book the Golden Nugget Inn for 1 dinner. Book it on when you arrive as we ended up eating at 9pm. At the Golden nugget the characters wander around. We got Minnie, Geppetto, Pinnochio, Tigger, and Eee-Haa. Kids got photos and Autographs.

Take Drinks into the park. A can of Pepsi costs 2.50.

Make sandwiches at breakfast. A Hotdog costs 7.00. We had plenty because I made ham and chicken sandwiches at breakfast, and took a few extra croisants.

If you can stay in the disney hotels. You get into the park earlier, and you get fast passes.

When you get into the park have a plan. I went to one ride and got fast passes useing our four tickets while my wife took the kids to queue for another ride that didnt offer fast passes. Within 30 minutes we had managed 3 popular rides.

I dreaded disney. Now I LOVE it and cant wait to go again.
