Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

balletshoes wrote: »Is your Newport Bay price £770 including your Eurostar transport? If it is, I'd say thats a really good price. I had a look for you on the official Disneyland Paris site for hotel/tickets package - the Newport Bay is showing the full 40% discount, £654 total (so add your £288 Eurostar price to this). Sequoia Lodge is still 40% off too, so £577 (add your Eurostar price). The Cheyenne is no longer 40% off, so is more expensive than either the Sequoia Lodge or the Newport Bay.
Thanks
Yeh it was for Eurostar aswell.
Can get Newport Bay (with Discount) for £772, Cheyenne (no discount) £830 or New York (with Discount) £864 -may opt for the New York.
Can't get Sequoia on dates I need0 -

Looks like it doesn't include Park tickets. Very confusiing because on the Eurostar site it says
"Standard room - All stay parks tickets..sale Price = included
which looks to me like tickets are inluded, but when you go to pay, you have to buy park ticksts which is an extra £3320 -

I've done the exact same as you, but for 10th-13th Sep and the best I can get is £770 for Newport Bay for same deal which includes a 30% saving for staying 2 nights (Seq hotel not available on my dates) Cheyenne is £830 for same deal (no 30% offer)
Wonder how your search was so much cheaper, for just 2 weeks different
I noticed when i was having a quick look that the prices were varying wildly through september. Its depending on 3 main things -
1. Whether the hotel is running the 40% discount on those particular dates
2. The avalibilty of the eurostar - the more booked up it is the more you pay, so on some days the fares can be 3 or 4 times more than another
3. If the direct trains are available as these always seem to book up the quickest and the days of the week of the trip (mine was based on going out on a mon returning on the thurs.)
If you can be flexible with your dates then id suggest trying a selection of dates as the price difference looks to be huge!
Dont know the answer to the tickets question, as when i last used expedia i was delibrately avoiding booking a ticket package as i had them seperately. But im sure theres other people on the previous pages of this thread that have had the same issue.0 -

Disneyland hotel
Castle Club suite0 -
If money is no object, definitely Castle Club at the Disneyland Hotel. Compare the price for that against the Cheyenne as well though, as your 2-year old might love the Cowboy theme there. If your little one is a girl and into Princesses, I would think there could be nothing grander than staying in the Disneyland Hotel, its known as the "Pink Palace"

We'll be spending 3 nights at Disney from 8th September at the sequoia lodge after 11 nights at a siblu park in the Loire. I am contemplating whether it's worth getting the half board package. There's 3 of us, including my 2 year old daughter (but the half board seems to be over 3 - what would she get in the restaurants)? We'll also have a car, so could potentially drive elsewhere to eat. How much would we be looking at for half board compared to the prices in restaurants, particularly given the fall in value of the euro?0

When I booked I booked the flights separately from the website to get better prices and times.
I am taking my 5 year old niece and was thinking Halloween or Christmas (for the extra atmosphere) However it worked out too dear. I went to exdidia's website and played around with the dates. End of September was working out the cheapest. Plus some have said Santa Fe doesn't have much Disney character however for the price I thought it was great plus you will be at Disney park and village most of the time so you are only sleeping and eating in the hotel. I have stayed in Santa Fe 0 clean tidy great staff so book there. It is a 2* and you could pay the same for a 4* non Disney but in Disney Hotel your park tickets are free so much better value. Hope this helps.:)0 -

If you book with disney direct for one of their partner hotels the park tickets are free too. Only difference is you have no meet and greet at the hotel but theres loads in the park and you dont get extra magic hours. In September its only on 3 days a week anyway so chances are youll only get 1 or maybe 0 during your stay anywayWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0
