If money is no object, definitely Castle Club at the Disneyland Hotel. Compare the price for that against the Cheyenne as well though, as your 2-year old might love the Cowboy theme there. If your little one is a girl and into Princesses, I would think there could be nothing grander than staying in the Disneyland Hotel, its known as the "Pink Palace" :).

Hi! I am a bit confused too! Is Castle Club same as Dream Castle hotel? This one (Dream Castle Hotel) is shown as partner hotel and is little away from the park or am I missing something?

Castle Club is the name for the VIP extra special rooms and suites at the Disneyland Hotel :). The Dream Castle is a partner hotel (and a very nice one too).

Balletshoes, thanks for clarifying... that's very expensive.

I am getting a good deal with Dream Castle for four nights which is after buying separate park tickets for two days is turning out to be same as SataFe. The Dream Castle is a 4* hotel compared with SantaFe which is 2*. The reviews on SantaFe are not so good (for rooms) but for Dream Castle the reviews are good. I have two kids (1 is 8 and other is 2). The SantaFe rooms looks very basic with no aircon whereas the Dream Castle rooms appear good with AirCon and all.

I am planning to go last week of August. I intend to go to parks for 2 days and other 2 days roam around in Paris. It's very difficult to get good family rooms in Paris so thinking of staying near DLP.

The Dream Castle hotel is a little away but they say shuttle is available to park which I can use to go to the RER station to go to Paris as well for other two days.

Do you think if there is any issues or forsee any problems in going for Dream Castle hotel with above plans?

I will appreciate any help/direction in this.

I think if you're using the Dream Castle as a base for visiting Paris as well as 2 days in the DLP parks, then your plan sounds great.

I stay at the Santa Fe regularly, as I like to get to DLP on a budget. Have never had an issue with any room I've had there - but you're right, the Dream Castle is a much better hotel. You'll have the pool you can use there too, and I'm sure air con will be a real bonus in August :). The free shuttle from the Dream Castle leaves every 15 minutes or so throughout the day and evening, and drops you off right next to the Disney park entrance and the train station.

If you use your 2 days in Disney wisely, you should manage to get a lot done and seen, but probably not everything (you will be there at one of the busiest times of the year).

We'll be spending 3 nights at Disney from 8th September at the sequoia lodge after 11 nights at a siblu park in the Loire. I am contemplating whether it's worth getting the half board package. There's 3 of us, including my 2 year old daughter (but the half board seems to be over 3 - what would she get in the restaurants)? We'll also have a car, so could potentially drive elsewhere to eat. How much would we be looking at for half board compared to the prices in restaurants, particularly given the fall in value of the euro?

under 3s eat for free, but by that they mean you are supposed to share you adult meal with them, they dont actually get a meal of their own, for free

its better value to go for half board, than buy your own meals in the onsite restaurants

I would definitely go for half-board. It's way cheaper in the long run. Well it is for me as when i go with my family, there is always 6 of us. My family and I go for the Halfboard plus which doesnt include Cafe Mickey, Princess Resteraunt and a few others I can't remember. The Princess Resteraunt is extremely expensive and is for people with wide pallettes as I brought my daughter there and the only thing she ate was the dessert which was a white chocolate slipper.

    Thanks,

    Emma :)

The shuttle was handy too ran every 10-15 mins to the parks

I found HB a waste of money you actually save very little if anything youll find you can eat cheaper off the menus at the selected places than wha your paying for the haf board vouchers. The ONLY benefit of half board it means youve not go to worry about taking as much money with you as your main meal is paid for.
