Back frm an amazing trip, thought I would share our experience!!

Dining vouchers - you get given 2 vouchers per day, one has a sun and is for lunch the other a moon and for dinner. It lists where you can eat but then also states you can use it anywhere (except Rainforest Cafe, McDonalds, King Ludwigs and Planet Hollywood) to pay for food to the value of... and this is stated on the vouchers. Day: Adult 10.95 and child 4.95 and evening adults 26.95 and child 11.45 (Euros).

The restaurants listed on the park vouchers for the evening meal were all closed so we just have hot dogs from Caseys both nights. We chose to go to the Rainforest Cafe on Saturday night so did not use all of our vouchers. It did save us a fortune though so it is worth it. I did try to use one of the evening vouchers I had left from the day before for our lunch meal but they would not let me.

They tried to tell me on night 2 that I could not use my evening voucher in Caseys but I pointed out that all of the park restaurants were closed so they put them through the till. The bill in Caseys was 52 Euros so although the food was for 4 of us we just needed to give over the 2 adult evening meal vouchers to make payment. They are still offering these vouchers for next year so worth considering. If you want to eat in the sit down restaurants then you do need to plan and book these the day before. Lucky Nugget closes at 3pm and it is on the voucher that it can be used for your evening, but you cannot, so bear this in mind, same with Walts. The only places to eat your meal in the evening are the hotel restaurants and Disney Village.

Easy Access Pass. I took all of my son's paperwork and all I needed to show was my son's blue badge. They give you a card that lasts for the duration of your stay and you go to the exit of the ride and show the card, if there is another family waiting you wait until they ave been in and then you get the next turn, if there is no-one you get on when it stops. They mark the 5 most popular rides (Peter Pan, Buzz and Thunder Mountain - cannot remember the other 2) and they give you a time to come back, they write this on a ticket so you get a kind of fast pass.

DS queued for Crushes Coaster (they sent us in at the bottom of the steps for anyone who knows it) and then he changed his mind and so they gave us a baby switch which allows 2 people to ride so after my friend took DD on we switched and I got on at the exit with my daughter who got 2 goes!! She was happy. That ride is amazing!!

All of the rides have baby switches so please use them, I did not see it advertised really but you ask the operator for a baby switch ticket, you get off the ride and go out, give it to the person who wants to go and 2 people can go at the back of the ride and get on.

The other thing I would suggest is to take something light and very waterproof. Saturday when we arrived it rained so hard and we were all soaked through our coats and clothes, after 2 hours we gave up and went back to the hotel. Woke up on Sunday morning, opened the curtains and it was raining again. Quite depressing but we thought 'stuff it, we are buying ponchos' so we got the ponchoes and off we went and they kept us dry so well worth the money as it meant we could go out without the worry of getting soaked through to our bones again. I have some in the loft so I could have taken those and saved the money so think about this, they are small to go into the case and will keep you dry if it rains. DD boots were soaked through and so we ended up buying wellies for them (v expensive but my friend bought them as their Xmas pressie!!).

One other thing. They did not charge us for the Disney Express for our return journey but she said 'you look nice people so I will do it for free', we also were able to get off the Eurostar, get to the hotel (forgot to take the bus though, doh!!) and check in right away (around 1.45pm) and go to our rooms. So if you do not get the Disney Express as part of a package then bear this in mind and do not worry too much. Plus it was quiet as everyone else was going to the parks first and would check in after the parks had closed.

A Disney Cast Member told me to come back in January as it is very quiet. Go midweek it is much cheaper - both the train and the hotels - and they are doing the eat free deal. I priced up for 2 Adults and 2 kids (5 and 7) yesterday to travel mid march and it was just under £600 for train, Santa Fe hotel, tickets and all meals with the vouchers.

Do you think going around the 6th of January would be a good idea in that case? I was going to take DD just after xmas but would be happy to save some money if possible.

    Hi

Sorry if this is a silly question,

But where would I find the best price to go to DLP before xmas on a monday-wednesday (number of days not that important) for 2 adults 2 kids (on 5 on 12)

    Are there any offers anywhere?

I heard there was some in the Daily Mail, couldn't see it.

    Thanks for any help x

I would, the kids have gone back to school, not many will take their kids out of school. It'll be the best time.

For the person asking for the best prices. Put a 2 week window of dates into Expedia, it will bring up the hotel prices per night for each hotel and show whether they are available. You can then check those prices with the ones on www.disneylandparis.co.uk website but they will usually be the same and give the same prices. Both give Quidco cashback. Expedia had an additional 10% discount when we booked so worth comparing. DLP chasback was £6.50 but Expedia gave me around £50 cashback for the break I booked.
