yeah we arent driving..we are catching the eurostar...the good thing about that tho is that it has teh express checkout on there so we dont have to go to the hotel first we can head straight to the park
we also have meal vouchers for all our meals which is good...that way we can stuff the kids at breakfast lol...but we are hoping it is going to save a fair bit on food knowing taht we have meals or they can be used towards other restaurants not on the list.
but we will still take some snacks..especially for the baby and the eldest *(hes really fussy)..actually thinking about it im gonna have to stock up for the middle one that boy can pack some food away...would eat us out of house and home.
theres 2 adults, 2 children, anda baby...how much money do you tend to take?
depends if you intend to purchase gifts/souveniers etc with credit card or cash
as all your food is covered, all u will need is spare change for teas/coffees etc... cant think of anything else you will have to pay cash for
official photos with characters will have to be paid for if you want them.
again depends on cash or credit card.
if you intend to pay for all that sort of stuff with credit card, you will prob need no more tha £25 per day, and thats being generous (how much tea/coffee/snacks do u need !!??)
if on the other hand, u intend to pay cash for all that, take a truck load !! :rotfl::D
if not there is a cash machine in Disney Village and the train station i believePlease take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

everything will probably be cash..i do have a credit card but have enough problems paying it off now without sticking loads of stuff on there too.
no doubt we will be buying gifts and things especially having young boys...i want to make sure i take enough but i also dont want the taking alot of money and spending it cos its there if that makes sense lol.
so much to think about...i think i must have some form of OCD lol i get very panicky if i dont have everything planned and now exactly how much things will cost (that i can realistically find out i mean)...what we'll be doing or going...my poor OH is getting bored to tears with it all0 -

yep, definitely OCD !!
don't worry about things so much, just go with the flow and enjoy the trip :j or you'll end up spoiling it !!
it is very difficult to meticulously plan your entire day at DLP
so many times you think u have a plan as you head from one corner of the park to the other, only to get sidetracked by a photo opportunity with the characters
just take whatever cash u are comfortable with, then if u need it, u can draw some more out from the cashpoint (possibly at a small charge - not sure), or if really desperate there is always the credit card....
hope the exchange rate gets better for you by March....Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

yeah me too...its horrendous at the minute!! almost like for like and in some places you get less than the pound!!...
i think i can use my capital one card over there if so i think what i'll do to save travelling with a mass of money is put most of my spending money on my credit card then just use that.
guess i'll just have to see what happens!!0 -
by the way, if your meal vouchers dont fully cover everything, there is a place in the Disney Village that we found serves the best value baguettes, called 'New York Style Sandwiches'
great for fussy eating kids, as the have stuff like plain old ham&cheese baguttes, and chips etc...

also, if your meal vouchers get u in Cafe Mickey, remeber they always have characters walking round, wheras other restaurants do not

the good think about the vouchers is in the restaurants they list you get a set menu..or a buffet depending where you go..but if you fancy something different to the set menu it can be used towards the cost...the dinner one is 20 euros per adult and 9.50 for children the lunch is less...we will be using one of ours to put towards the buffalo bill show..it still leaves quite a bit to pay i think but im hoping it will be worth it0

Lucky Nugget in the Park is another good one, that includes characters
well we've been 11 times, and never done Buffalo Bill show - could never justify the price.
But have just booked to stay in Disneyland Hotel in Feb 2010 for 1st time, and with that you get Buffalo Bill all included with Premium Meal Vouchers, so would be silly not to take advantage of that! Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

if you are tossing up between Lucky Nugget and cafe Mickey - i would go Lucky Nugget every time...
Friendlier staff, more characters, more entertainment, better venue, better food. Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk
