  • There are eurostar tickets just after xmas-see budget tab on eurostar website for £58 return. Great way to get there and combine with a cheap hotel ie cam[anile etc lots of cheap hotels on rer route to marne le vallee.

Disneyland resort in the winter can and often is the best time to go. Look at this summer, its been nothing but wet and crappy weather. February and March can be lovely, nice crisp mornings, lovely winter sunshine and cold evenings to be in the park, cant beat it.

We have been at all times of the year, and have to say March has been the best month and they have the kids under 12 free offer.
  • We went in Feb this year, 2 adults, two children, 4 nights at the Dream Castle (2nd top rated hotel in the area on Trip Advisor), Eurostar travel. Booked on Expedia and it came to £575. Went through Quidco to get cash back, think it was about £25. At the time there were packages that were a couple of hundred less but we were drawn to the nicer sounding hotel.

I kept on trying different dates in the holiday searches and there could be differences of £100 or more by simply traveling a day later or earlier so just kept looking until I felt we had the best price. Staying a bit further out can bring the price down a lot more, Val d'Europe is only one stop on the train. Travelling by ferry/car might be cheaper depending on where you are travelling from. Last time we went we hired a cottage nearby instead of staying in a hotel which could well work out cheaper again at that time of year.

After getting my 2p ferry, i think been thinking more & more about spending 2 days at Disney, but far to expensive for us, so been looking at accommodation, and i know its not everyones cup of tea, but have found a mobile home site 20 mins from Disney, emailed to see what facilities are open over xmas, and it would be enough for us. Get there 24th Dec until 29th Dec thought go and visit the Eiffel Tower as kids really want to go up it, the museums, the lovely lights of Paris, then 2 days at disney. My kids are 8 &10 they know already what they want for xmas, so we thought we would be different this year, no tree & decs, some culture! Park for 5 nights is about £160, which is think is a good price, not glamarous as a hotel, but we are a happy campers family anyway x x
  • Do you have the details of the mobile home park you have booked??? I'm wanting to do the same at Christmas!!!

booking direct with disney seems to be reasonable at the moment

    or you could try expedia
    ( both on quidco !)

you could always try getting local flights with a cheap airline, then booking accom and park tix with disney

do take advantage of a breakfast in the park (mmmm, just how many times have I said that on this thread), it is really nice to see the park when it is quiet. I love being able to take it all in, looking around at all the detail and not have to worry about tripping over a pram or walking into people!;)

I think I will have to try breakfast in the park then! Do we book it at our hotel reception when we get there? Or do we just go into the park on the day? Where can you get the breakfasts?
If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in :D
