have a look at the hotels / aparthotels in val d'europe
they are only a few mins drive from disney ( we stayed @ the adagio city in the summer and staying @ residhome in dec ) so fairly close but much cheaper than staying onsite !
apartments are good as you get a living area ( usually doubles up as sleeping too ) small kitchen area plus separate bedroom/s aswell0 -
I think I will have to try breakfast in the park then! Do we book it at our hotel reception when we get there? Or do we just go into the park on the day? Where can you get the breakfasts?
Hi Zoe,
when you arrive the receptionist will ask you for the times you want to have breakfast (I think this is a bit of a pain to be honest, I never know what to say but anyhoooo) just ask for one (or more?) of the breakfasts to be in the park. It varies which restaurant they have the breakfast in but it is always (I think) in Fantasy Land. We like to get the latest possible slot, that way you can have a lie inish if you want to or go early and get on the rides such as Peter Pan and then go and have breakfast. Have a nice big breakfast/brunch, eat outside in nice weather and watch the world go by. It then saves you the cost of a lunch. I am a truly disneyholic and this is the bit I look forward to most, much as I love the park when it is empty, I love it even more when it is really quiet. If anything I say starts to make sense, PANIC!0 -

Thanks, will try it for once, this will be our 4th visit and we've never had breakfast in the park before.
Don't think we'll be eating it outside though as we're going in January. :snow_laugIf you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in0 -

Just booked accomodation at hotel l'elysee in val d'europe and cheap flights but the problem is we arrive cdg at 8:30pm on a Sunday night and fly back at 07:20 am the following sunday (guess why we got return flights from Edinburgh at £95 each). What is the best way to transfer between the hotel/airport at those times and where is the cheapest place to buy park tickets? TIA0
-
Cheapest place for tickets at the moment is Disney itself. "ouch" to 7.20 am, probably the easiest way would be shared transport via http://www.bstransports.com/ where someone will meet you at the airport and on the return pick you up at your hotel.
If you opt for shared transport its cheaper and quite likely that you won't be sharing it with anyone else.0 -

Hi,
Travelling to disney at xmas at staying at the holiday inn. Going by eurostar. Does the eurostar take you to a central station and then you find your way to your hotel? Would I need taxi or is there a shuttle bus?
Is there anywhere to have xmas dinner?
My daughter is 3 so what bits do you recommend I do?
All answers welcome, thank you so much

Hi
The Eurostar takes you to the entrance to Disneyland. There are shuttle buses outside that take you to the different hotels.
