Hi Balletshoes - if you order annual passes from Disney like this is it possible to get them fully validated (so that you don't have to go to the passport office on arrival) before you go? Just thinking it would save us time and also give us the Extra Magic Hours for the first morning. Thanks

yes, they are fully laminated and validated before they are sent to you in the post to your home address. You would get EMH your first morning anyway if you buy APs at the entrance to the parks, as you have your receipt to show you've bought your AP's that day and you get a temporary one-day ticket to get you through the turnstiles.

Thanks Balletshoes, so are you saying we can rock up at the ticket booths outside the park at 8am on our first day, buy the annual passes there and then and go straight in?

yes - but I wouldn't use the ticket booths, I'd use the Guest Services window next to the turnstiles for the main park (to the right as you're entering the park).

Great, thanks, didn't think they'd be open that early.

    Hi all,

I was hoping for some advice on a trip I'm planning.

    DLP UK site: £1,363.60
Arrival date: Sunday 02 April 2017
    Length of stay: 2 night(s)
Room type: Classic Room with one large double bed or 2 double beds
    Adult(s): 2
    Child(ren): 1
Package: You are benefiting from 30% off Hotel and Park Tickets + FREE Half Board Meal Plan (quick service breakfast in Disney Parks, and lunch or dinner!)

    DLP FR site: €1,225,00
Arrival date: Sunday 02 April 2017
    Length of stay: 2 night(s)
Room type: Classic Room with one large double bed or 2 double beds
    Adult(s): 2
    Child(ren): 1
Package: You are benefiting from 30% off Hotel and Park Tickets + under 12's free

The DLP FR site is cheaper but no half board...

    DLP DE site: €1,312,50
Arrival date: Sunday 02 April 2017
    Length of stay: 2 night(s)
Room type: Classic Room with one large double bed or 2 double beds
    Adult(s): 2
    Child(ren): 1
Package: Price includes 25% early booking discount + breakfast and lunch or dinner included + children under 7 Included

So... travelling with a pregnant wife and a child who's just turned 4, half board does sound tempting for us, so we don't have to worry too much about breakfast and one of the other meals in the day. Can anyone advise the best course of action? Also travelling by Eurostar (London St Pancras toMARNE-LA-VALLEE / DISNEYLAND), if adding travel via the DLP UK site this comes to: £1,914.10. It seems more or less the same kind of price if booking separately via Eurostar website (around £550 separately).

Edited, I have found the total holiday package (inc travel) marginally cheaper (approx £1880) via https://www.magicbreaks.co.uk. Is this a well recognised provider?

    Thanks in advance.

Is there any issue purchasing via the DLP German site? any complications or anything I should know about?

thats very expensive for 2 nights - is that the Disneyland Hotel?
Out of those three, for 2 nights, I'd go with the German offer.

Theres no problem booking through the German version of the site, just don't try to change the country away from Germany. You don't get anything in the post, all your booking confirmation comes to you via email (it will be in German if you use the German booking site). But when you check in, they won't bat an eye as to which language the booking form is in, they'll hear you speak English and they will check you in in English.

There is one advantage in booking the Eurostar yourself, you can then choose your own seat reservations and carriage etc. You don't get this option if you book Eurostar through Disney.

    Hi balletshoes,

Thanks for the response. Yes this is at the Disneyland Hotel which is why I'm guessing the extortionate price!

Ah thats great advice, will most likely book travel separate then! cheers!
  • Hi all!

Having searched recently for the cheapest way from CDG to Disneyland Paris, I wanted to add that there is a way to do it for less than 6 euros. We only found out for the return journey, as the Information Desk at the airport neglected to tell us about this  .

Terminal 3 at CDG airport, go to the bus station. The #19 bus towards Torcy will cost €2 per person (have the correct change). It runs roughly every 30 minutes during the week from 0550 to 2240, and hourly at weekends from 0545 to 2100. About an hour on the bus will get you to Torcy RER (Metro) station.

Torcy station is only 3 train stops from the Disneyland Paris station. The cost of this journey is €3.40 per person.

The same can be done in reverse. The bus driver on the 19 was super helpful, even stopping to direct us towards our correct terminal on arrival back at CDG :T .

This won't be ideal for those lugging children and suitcases around, but if you're on a tight budget and don't mind roughing it a little, it's definitely worth considering. We took the metro into Paris and then back out to DLP on arrival, and it took about the same time as the bus, for 3 times the price!

I have the timetable here for the 19 bus. Not sure if there's a way of uploading it though.
  • Hi, I was looking to visit DLP with my family including my mum who is registered disabled and would need to use a mobility scooter to get around. Does anybody know if mobility scooters can be rented on site, or if not, is it easy to bring your own from home? Plus, is it easy to get around if you do have mobility problems?, thanks

    Hi

You can hire wheelchairs, as i did last year, but I don't think that they have mobility scooters for hire. However I did see a few people entering the park using one last year so maybe you can bring your own.

If you are pregnant then read the above as you can get an easy access pass to the attractions
