you could see if the davy crockett ranch has the 40% off and free under-12s for your dates? it might be worthwhile considering that, and even hiring a car, if you weren't travelling from the UK to France by car anyway.
Hi balletshoes,
Yes, they are all over 3. I did see the Davy Crockett had the special offer flagged up so I assumed it must have something about the rooms in Newport Bay that were excluded from the offer.
Thanks for the response, I shall have a look at the other hotel options on the site. We will probably be driving to France. We went 4 years ago and I drove in convey with my in laws and it was reasonable straightforward.0 -
Hi Eddi,
I have been looking at the 40% offer with U12's stay free on the French and Belgium site, but when I try to select the Newport Bay Club hotel it always returns a message about a minimum of 2 night stay required and only offers the standard rate with no discounts. I am actually trying to book for 4 nights in April. I wonder if it is because I am booking for 2 adults and 3 children they are limiting the offer.
I have looked at the small print and it does include all the room standards for this hotel.
Would I be better ringing them up directly?
Thanks
Hi Henry, apologies, didn't see your message straight away. I think balletshoes has answered though nowannoyingly the family rooms are rarely included in special offers, and standard rooms will accommodate 5, but only where one child is an infant under 3. And family rooms are often only available to book over the phone. The website can be fiddly and not show some all options up with no helpful explanation as to why not, so its definitely worth ringing up and just seeing what options they can offer, even just as an investigative exercise.
Depending on what dates you were looking at in April or what day you were arriving might have an effect too as the actual 25th anniversary for Disneyland Paris is on the 12th April and onsite packages are working out pretty pricey....and you've got all the Easter holidays around then.
Newport bay is a 4-key hotel as well now its been refurbed and I think the family rooms are all club level (in Compass Club) which is a concierge level service with extra perks, private check-in, private dining room, afternoon snacks, drinks in the evening and such. From 29th March breakfast is no longer included with your hotel package for standard rooms so that's something to consider if you weren't aware - it has to be purchased as an add-on. Breakfast is still included for club level and suites guests though.0 -
Hi, 6 of us (4 adults, 2 children) going to DLP in May half term, staying offsite at the Kyriad for 4 nights so will be getting (fantasy) annual passes. It seems to cost pretty much exactly the same to buy them onsite at €179 each (minus the 20% discount for buying 5+) or with supertrips.net £129/£122 in advance. Is there any difference?
Also, was thinking we'd take advantage of the 20% off the Buffalo Bill show available with an annual pass but is that possible if you book in advance before you've actually got the annual pass??
Thanks0 -

no theres no difference, whichever way you do it you still have to take your AP vouchers to the AP office inside the main park to have your AP's made permanent.
I'd look at the French DLP site ticket price for Buffalo Bills - its usually a fair bit cheaper than the full price minus AP 20% off. You don't really need to book Buffalo Bills in advance, its not, in my experience, ever full to capacity. So even if you did want to use the 20% off with you AP, you could wait til you have your AP and then buy your Buffalo Bills tickets at the venue.0 -
Thanks as ever Balletshoes. You helped me so much when planning our first and second trips to DLP 4 and 3 years ago and you are still here helping!
I think, on reflection, I'll keep an eye on Supertrips but only buy our APs from them if they're significantly cheaper than at the gate. No point laying out c. £760 sooner than necessary!
Regarding Buffalo Bills, I couldn't see any reduced prices on the French DLP site, it just seems to say to phone the dining line. Do you have a link? (I was looking here: http://www.disneylandparis.fr/restaurants/disney-village/la-legende-de-buffalo-bill-avec-mickey-et-ses-amis/).
I could see, however, that people such as Supertrips, Travel Republic and Attraction Tickets Direct all sell BB tickets for around the £48 adults/£36 children mark which is pretty close to the standard price (which I believe is €63/€47) less 20% anyway. This is for 2nd category tickets.
Interesting that BB is rarely full but I'd still prefer to have it booked in advance.0 -
on the French (Isle-de-france version) of the DLP site, choose parcs et billets, then spectacles, then at the bottom of that page there is billet malin for Buffalo Bills, exactly the same seats etc that you would pay full price for, but as you're buying the tickets at least 5 days in advance, you get them for 40 euros per person. The prices are not there for May yet, you'll need to wait until after the end of March to book them for May, but I'm sure they'll be there
.
End of March/beginning of April every year is when DLP's pricing structure changes, thats why some tickets are not available to buy after end of March yet.0 -

Thanks again Balletshoes; I can see that now. Only thing is they're only for the 9:30pm shows whereas we wanted the 6:30pm. Anyway, I'll check back nearer the time.0 -
Hi my son and his partner and 3 children age 13, 10 and 4 are hoping to go to Disneyland, Paris around his birthday which is the 27 th of May. Could anyone please direct us as to what websites or any info at all for us to find a good deal . He was quoted £2500 :eek:and this was only for 4 nights. I'm sure there are cheaper deals out there if we knew where to start . Thank you.0

okay as your son's party is 5 people all aged 3 or over, you are restricted, onsite anyway, to either a family room (very restricted availability and usually don't get any discount offer prices on them) or the Davy Crockett ranch. If they are driving over, this is the best option anyway for DLP. I'd suggest your son checks the DLP site for hotel only (no transport included) and see what price comes up for 3 or 4 nights for the whole group. Try the UK, French, and German versions of the site (they all have different offers for that time frame at the moment).
If driving, your son can use Tesco clubcard vouchers towards the cost of the Eurotunnel crossing.0 -
