    Hi Everyone,

My first post on this board - I'm planning a short trip to DLP in September.

The plan is to fly into CDG on Friday evening, TGV to the Park - thinking of staying at the Holiday Inn close to the park.

It states that it's 3km to the hotel from the station - is it likely that the buses will still be running to the hotel from the park by the time we get there (approx 10:20PM) ?

Never been to Disney Paris but am a veteren of WDW (20+ trips).

    Thanks in advance.

We are going on 12th October too, for 4 nights at Explorers Hotel :rotfl:

Can't wait!! It is like a bug, you miss the place as soon as you leave and spend the next few weeks drooling over the DLP website planning your next trip and the next months willing the time to go quicker so that you can go again lol!

Hope you get you confirmation through  Get on the phone to them and tell them to sort it out!!!

Manfred - I think the buses run till 11pm, if you check out the FAQs on the DLP website it tells you in there. One thing, I have read quite a few negative reviews over the last couple of months about the Holiday Inn. Apparently, although it is still called Holiday Inn, it has been taken over by another company and there have been loads of problems with check in, cleaning and the food. Not that I want to put you off booking, but you might want to check out Tripadvisor before booking.

I've been into Thomas cook several times over the past 6 weeks (when i booked it) I payed in full on the day I booked it so payment isn't the problem.
What they Can't seem to get right is my sons name, come on how hard is it to spell James 6 times they've got it wrong !!!!
They then said they had sent it out 3 weeks ago, still didn't come, so i went back in and they sent for another to be send out, still nothing.
Now they have come back to me today and said the invoice printing machine has been broken but it's now working again

Where you travelling from delta kc ?

We are also in the explorers hotel but I'm staying for 5 nights as the price difference between 4 and 5nights was pence when i booked :)
Cathy is also in the explorers and staying for 4 nights.

    Oooooohhhhh won't we have muchly fun :j :j :j :j

    Hi Jimsmum

I'm travelling from Edinburgh, but live in Glasgow. Flights were much cheaper :j

    Where are you travelling from?

Could Thomas Cook not print you a copy of your confirmation in the shop? Seems a bit strange that they have to send away for it  Fingers crossed you'll get it through soon! Guess someone has a problem with the name James too. How much effort does it take to make sure it's spelt right

I know that there are a few fussy folk that don't like the explorers but my wee girl loves it!! So much more for the kids to do than the Disney hotels so more peace for me :D
