Many thanks balletshoes. So itsbest to go through DLP to book or do we have any other options to book. I take it they include park tickets with the deal. I was quoted around £1100 for 3 nights at sequia hotel. Is this resonable? Thanks again

i've just edited my earlier post :) - i think thats expensive to be honest.

eta - for example, for your 3 nights, the Kyriad at Disneyland Paris is £294 total, bed and breakfast, on travelrepublic. This hotel is a Disney partner hotel, so has a Disney gift shop in it, and has a free shuttle bus running back and forth to the parks all day every day, from 6am to midnight every day.

    Hi,

We are all set for that Disney trip in end of May. We have booked from 22nd May until the 24th, details below. The package price was £558 + we added BBWW show for £125 for three of us.

Hotel:Disney's Hotel Cheyenne®Package:This price includes 10% OFF Hotel and Park tickets + FREE HALF BOARD meal plan + FREE Hotel and Park tickets for kids under 7!Check in date:22/05/2014Check out date:24/05/2014Number of nights:2 nights Number of days in park: 3 days park Room Option: Room with 1 large double bed and a set of bunk beds located near hotel facilities.

As this is our first time there, we would like to know how hould we prioritise our activities whilst in the parks. I see a lots of information in the brochures but thought would be good to learn from people who have made similar visits to us, so that we could plan accordingly.

We are taking the Eurostar from London and would be reaching DLP ~ 12.00pm on the 22nd. We have our BBWW booked for the Friday evening at 6.30. Apart from this w would like to use our time efficiently possible to make the most. Understand hopping between the parks are useful, these tickets are they available at the park, can we ask for these at the entrance or in the hotel?

Also, to beat Q's fast lanes are suggested, how does this work? any other ideas / suggestions / experiences on food etc.. all would be greatly received.

Thanks in advance for the guidance..

the park tickets you have included in you package are park hopper tickets, so you can use them to go back and forth between the 2 parks as much as you like.

fastpass isn't available on loads of rides at DLP, but yes, they are very handy. Again, your park ticket is what you need to use the fastpass machines (they are free to use).

As to planning your time - go on the official DLP site, and have a look/print off the current park programme (it will be the same now as it is on your dates). This has the timings for all the parades and shows etc in both parks. Pick 4 or 5 of those each day as must-do's, then work everything else around them.

If you have young children with you, use Extra Magic Hours on both your mornings - get to the main park for 8am and enjoy a quiet park with several open rides, mostly aimed at the younger age group, with no/minimal queues.

If you have children and you think they'd enjoy meeting characters, there are opportunities to do that without mega-queues (but I won't go into those unless you think you'd spend time chasing charactes while at DLP).

As your last day in the parks is a Saturday (ie much busier than your other 2 days) don't bank on doing any rides outside of Extra Magic Hours on that day - concentrate on the shows (mainly in the Studios park) as those are large capacity so you don't need to queue for ages for those.

Thanks again balletshoes, would it be a good idea take the scooter along for our daughter to scoot, as I think it would help her to move around quickly otherwise I suspect she is going to feel tired.

And, understand that the food in general is not so great inside DLP, what are the chances that we can pack some food from here, are there ovens or fridges in the hotels?

Any suggestions for a perfect photo spot, I know there are going to be loads of places inside there but any where in particular that is worth spending some time to take some quality photos that can be framed as a nice portrait.

Our daughter loves princesses stuff, so please can you also suggest on activities / shows that involves more of these princesses stuff.

    Thanks

I've never seen any child on a scooter inside the parks, I suspect there may be a rule prohibiting any wheeled vehicle if its not a pushchair or wheelchair.

no, no ovens or fridges in the Cheyenne I'm afraid.

I can't really help you with that - we take very accidental photos at DLP :).

the Magic on Parade daily parade in the main park has the Princesses, also Stars n Cars parade in the Studios park has Ariel, Jasmine and Aladdin, and sometimes Mulan, in it. If you are in the Studios park from 12 noon until around 1.30pm on any of your days you may be able to meet one or more of these Princesses, as this is when the queued meet n greets take place there, near Cinemagique.

Apart from that, at the moment there is a queued meet n greet in the main park with Rapunzel, there is a queued meet n greet in the Princess Pavilion in the main park, and there is the Princess meal at Auberge de Cendrillon. Be warned - the queued meet n greets for the Princesses and Rapunzel have long waits, typically 90 minutes or more, almost all of every park day - and the Princess lunch is expensive.

No sign of this when we went in March. Where is it? Is it only in peak season?

    Three places spring to mind
    1) outside DLP facing Disneyland Hotel near the water features in the gardens - down the steps just below the stalls/carts
    2) inside the band stand in Town Square
    3) directly in front of the castle at the entrance to it

I find that photos are best taken during EMH as there are fewer people around and I even take in an SLR camera with me at that time. Later in the day I use a compact camera as I can't imagine doing Big Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones or even Star Tours with a larger camera. I do see people struggle with huge cameras on these rides though, and with much bigger lenses than mine by far!

    Hello,

We are looking to do Disneyland Paris the cheapest way possible as much as we would like to stay on site, it's out of our budget at the moment. We have priced Camping Le Chene Gris, 7 nights in September, Euro Tunnel and Dream Annual Passes and it's coming in at £262 each, which seems to be a good deal. Does anybody know if this is a really good deal? With the Dream passes we could hopefully return again over the next 12 months. If we can find extra people to come with us it would knock the price down again as the price for the accommodation is for up to 4 adults. The accommodation we have priced is the cheapest available, which is one of the bungalow tents, which seems to look ok. Does anybody have any experience of these tents? We are also getting 2 extra nights thrown in, so would only be paying for 5 but getting a week. What is Disneyland Paris like in September, around 9th - 16th?

Hopefully somebody here has experience of the campsite, or if not, any recommendations or opinions regarding the price.

    Thanks :)
