Thank you for your help. kids under 7 is all we would qualify for as 11yr old will be 12 in October, so before I was thinking of anyway.

Thanks I am currently looking at flights vs driving to London and getting Eurostar. I know both options would mean hiring a car but I'm not sure I can face driving the whole way:o

This is all just an idea anyway as it may be too expensive overall.

just to throw something else into the mix - as you are a family of 6, you would get 20% off the cost of 5 annual passes bought at the same time at DLP as a family discount, so you'd be getting 6 passes for the price of 5.

Have a look at DLRPMagic for their annual pass information, its very useful and its current and up-to-date.

Then you could stay offsite but nearby in an apartment in val d'europe, with no need to hire a car as its one stop on the very regular and cheap RER train to and from Disney.

Eurostar fares aren't out yet for any of your proposed dates, but they should be out soon (ie in the next couple of weeks or so). When they come on sale, the cheapest fares will sell out very quickly as both your proposed times are popular times to go to DLP from the UK.

Would an apartment and buying passes work out far cheaper than Davy Crockett?
Where would I look for apartments on a site like HomeAway?

Thank you so much you are very helpful :)

it might be a fair bit cheaper, as you only have 2 free children onsite.

I use travelrepublic, expedia, alpharooms and ebookers to look for apartments etc for disneyland paris.

Don't forget you can get interconnecting rooms in the Explorers hotel too, this is often a good option if you have annual passes for park tickets.

for what dates? if its for next year before april, I'd imagine you'll see kids under 12 back after 29th april this year. However, the same offer (2 nights free too) may not be available right away, that may not come out as a discount offer until later in the year (maybe around August-time).

Moral of the story is - if you see a price you like, book it when you see it (you can phone Disney to pay 15% of the total as a deposit, then pay the rest up to 60 days before your check-in date).

unless you are still seeing 30% off plus free half board for your dates on the official DLP site, I'd wait for the new offers to come out.

Flights you should book yourself, direct with the flight carrier.

eta - i just checked the official DLP site, and even with 25% off and including free half board, its £1000 or thereabouts for your 3 nights in August, which I think is very expensive indeed, just for hotel, breakfast, park tickets and one meal voucher per person per night booked.

Try travelrepublic, expedia, ebookers, alpharooms for hotels very near DLP (a lot of them have free shuttle buses direct to the parks) and consider annual passes for your park tickets (fantasy annual passes bought at the gates of DLP cost 159 euros each, adult or child, and give you discounts on food and souvenirs while at DLP, plus they give you access to Extra Magic Hours, just like at the onsite hotels, regardless of where you stay). Check DLRPMagic for their excellent information on annual passes.

You could get your trip to DLP a lot cheaper doing it this way.

Many thanks balletshoes. So itsbest to go through DLP to book or do we have any other options to book. I take it they include park tickets with the deal. I was quoted around £1100 for 3 nights at sequia hotel. Is this resonable? Thanks again
