Sorry for bothering you all again, I was told the end of the month would be best to check for cheap day passes, where is the best place to check for deals?
you might need to wait until first week of april, as thats when the new DLP year starts.
The usual suspects are fnac, ticketnet.fr, and the French version of the official DLP site.
If you already have membership to promoparcs or cemultiavantages it may be worth looking at them too, if they aren't restricted to French residents only.0 -
Thanks balletshoes for your always prompt and helpful advice, its very much appreciated:A0

We've been given a free holiday for DLP 2 nights and coach trip. HOORAY!
Now the only thing thats worrying me is when I saw the prices of eating there!!! 18 euros for a burger meal, surely they can be that bad even with a captive audience in the disney village?!
Bear in mind Im not sure what onsite hotel we are at yet ( allocated on arrival ) and we have no car, are there any walkable supermarkets near? I cant afford 50-60 euros per meal.....:(
Really making me panic and putting me off.
Any good suggestions please?
By the way 3 of us are veggies so that adds another issue
Thanks.
PS - Im not ungrateful to be given the holiday.....Honest0 -

its not 18 euros for a burger meal.
counter service inside the parks at DLP is 12 euros typically for an adult meal deal (burgers, pasta, pizza, chicken, mexican, fish and chips etc etc). Kids meals inside the parks are around 6 euros.
Theres a McDonalds in the Village (right next to the parks, literally 5 minutes walk from the entrance to the parks) prices are only a little more expensive than here (around 6 euros for an adult meal deal, 4 euros for a kids one).
There are 2 convenience stores inside the train station at DLP (again, right next to the entrance to the parks) for your snacks, soft drinks etc. Theres also a convenience store inside the filling station next to the road entrance to the Santa Fe hotel.
Don't worry - whatever your budget for food is, you'll manage on it at DLP.
And congratulations on the free trip!0 -

there is no free wifi inside the parks yet, but there is free wifi in the Village, and in the public areas of all the onsite hotels, and in the rooms of all the onsite hotels except the Santa Fe and Cheyenne hotels.
you'll get park maps and park programmes when you check in at your hotel, and you can get extra copies as you enter both parks (in the main park they are in the arches as you go through them, and in the Studios park they are inside Studio One, the main building everyone goes through to get in the park proper).0 -
Hi,
I got back on Friday and thought I would share some tips for others. I stayed at the Santa fe for 4 night, 5 days. Lovely clean hotel, kettle in the room. We took the hot chocolate cups from pound land which was lovely coming back to after a long day. Breakfast is manic, we arrived there at 7am everyday and there was a que! Tables go very quick, but breakfast itself was ok, plenty to eat.
Shuttle bus to and from parks are a nightmare especially with a pram. My poor toddler got squashed and was petrified. Instead we walked a lovely 10 minute walk to the park everyday.
Take lots of snacks and juice. This saved us a fortune!!
Cafe Mickey, we done the shared pizza option and it was brilliant and saved us lots of money.
If you like character hunting everyday in studios at 11am onwards a nice stream of characters come out. But be quick, they only let a few people que then stop. We ran to 3 and got turned away. (try telling that to a 3 year old)
Grab your spot for parade early, you really have to stake your claim.
Check your recipes! You will get a voucher for one free hot drink per purchase.
I think that's it lol. We had a fantastic time, very tiring but well worth it for the kiddies. I would advise the snow white ride is a little scary.
Thanks for everyone help and advice on here."sealed pot challenge" member 082 6-£450 7 £860 banked :staradmin :staradmin

Hi,
I am looking to buy 5 Annual Passes for myself, my wife, my 2 kids and my mum.
I had originally looked at the deals through Promoparcs but have provisionally ruled that out in my head as I don't have a French residential address I can use.
So I'm looking at the 159 Euros Fantasy Pass for each of us. I have a shareholders card which I understand gets me a 15% discount...but on the Disneyland shareholders website it says this can be combined with the Family 20% discount for buying 5 Passes at the same time.
We all live in the same property...and we have the same surname but I wondered if anyone had combined these 2 discounts before and whether there was any particular paperwork or proof I would need to take with me (other than the Passports confirming our names of course!)
Thanks0 -
