this is probably a really silly question...but the time on the eurostar tickets for when we leave disneyland is french time isnt it?

    yes it is :).
Also, do you know roughly how long it takes to get from santa fe to the station at Marne-la-Vall!e/Chessy.

am i right in thinking we hop on a shuttle bus to get from station-hotel, and hotel-station?

yes you can take the shuttle buses (takes about 5 minutes once everyone is on the bus), or you can walk - its about 15-20 minutes walk through the Village and past the Hotel New York and Cheyenne hotels.

Witnessed a few people at the bag check security area this week having their luggage looked through by the security staff. My advice is get straight onto a shuttle bus with your luggage thus bypassing security with large cases.

The main bag check area is next to the station to get into the parks or Disney Village. The shuttle bus is straight outside the station so no need to go through security if getting on a bus to/from the hotel/station, but if you walk to/from the hotel from the station, you will need to go through security. To be avoided with luggage I think. You will need to go through security to get into the parks daily but this is not a problem. A quick look into your bag or onto a scanner is usually all that is required. The other bag check you will encounter is if walking through Disney Village to the parks from the hotel.

    Hope this helps a little!

at every security check, if you have suitcases, you will be asked to open them or put them through an airport-type scanner if one is situated there.

MrsGreenwood if you take the shuttle bus to/from your hotel with your luggage, you won't go through a bag check (the bus stops right outside the train station). If you walk with your luggage between the Santa Fe and the train station, you will go through bag check at The Village.

Never noticed the security staff being quite so severe at opening cases before and recall thinking how embarrassing it must be!

I remember taking my case down to the luggage store at the entrance of the park one morning, the scanner wasn't open, and when I opened my case, my hair straighteners were on top of everything else. The security guard told me with a very straight face that I couldn't take them through security  - then he grinned (the sod :rotfl:).
  • Thank you for all your advice guys!

Another question for you, where is the cheapest place to get disney park tickets?

Now that I have got an idea for travel, and accomodation, need to sort tickets!

    Thank you in advance
