I can't help with your Eiffel Tower question, sorry.
im sorry, this has probably been asked before but i have a couple of questions.

we are staying in santa fe next month. would we need a travel kettle, mugs etc or are they in room?

they are not in the room as standard - I always take my own. You can pay a 30euro refundable deposit and hire one at reception, but no mugs are provided (just paper cups, and they're not great with hot drinks).

how are others making drinks for the kids if youre in your room? if theres no drinking water, im just wondering how to do it?

Buy a big bottle of water from the train station convencience store and use that with your dilute juice - or you can fill up with water at the water fountains in the parks, or the drinks machines in the restaurant at breakfast time. Take your own squash/dilute juice with you, theres very little choice of that in France.

we are just going to book everything once we are there. we are going half board. any tips wheres best to eat?

it depends what food you like, and whether buffets or table service is preferable. It also depends what time of day you prefer to eat your main meal ie lunchtime or evening.

what shows etc should we book? this is most likely the only time we will be going so dont want to miss anything. have a son (7) and daughter (3), although we are going half term so expecting it to be busy.

the only show you pay for at DLP is Buffalo Bills Wild West show. The cheapest tickets are around 35-40 euros each, regardless of age, so you really need to consider whether you'll all enjoy that.

also, the baby swap. would this apply to us seeing as our kids arent babies, but are too young for the thrill rides.

yes, baby swap is also child swap :)

any other tips for us? would love to hear them, and thanks in advance!! :)

Probably just as easy to conduct a google search to find the answer rather than posting the question!

However, whilst that would seen rather impolite and unhelpful, the answer to your question is Champ de Mars / Tour Eiffel on line RER C.

Now the reason for the opening comment, the one you actually end up using depends on what else you want to do on the day, for instance you could walk the Champs-Elysees and then down to the Trocadero and then across the Seine to the ET or approach from the south via the park in which case the Ecole Militiare station would be used or you could walk from the Concorde to the Invallides musuem and then from there to the park or something different entirely.....

i wasnt sure where to look, thats why i asked the question, but also asked for a link so i would be able to look myself.

i dont know which website would be the best to look at for train times etc. we would most probably just be visiting the eiffel tower.

    thanks

  • Right finally ready to book but was hoping for a last bit of advice about which website is best to use to book.

Ideally I would like to book over the internet and just pay a deposit and the balance nearer the time. I understand that the official Disneyland Paris website asks for the whole balance although you can ring to just pay the deposit.

Are there any other reputable websites that people recommend? Just worried that if I don't book through the official website we might not be protected. I want to get a package that includes Eurostar, hotel and tickets.

have you checked the Eurostar fares on the Eurostar website? Its usually cheaper booking Eurostar direct with them, and then your hotel/park tickets through Disney or another agent.

You are fully protected booking your travel through Eurostar, they are very good regarding customer service in the event of delays/cancellations etc.

We want to go at the end of August and the Eurostar website doesn't seem to have prices that far ahead.

the direct service price will be there already (the prices are available up to October/November).
