  • Were just starting today to look into a trip to disneyland - our little girl wants to go to lego and strangely it seems as though disney may be cheaper :/ I went when i was little and remember the wild west show however never realised the price of it - iv been looking at this
    (disney meal plans)
And it seems to include the show and work out a little cheaper ?
We would also like to visit the mickey cafe and meet some characters, im sure iv read on here that theyre around at dinner and its better to go then than pay for a meet and greet at breakfast ? Would the premium board mean we could have dinner at mickeys and then dinner slightly later at wild west ?
  • Also can i just have the meal plan for one day ?

i wouldn't do premium board plan at DLP at all - I'd buy discount price tickets for Buffalo Bills separate from your Disney hotel package (you can get them from around 40 euros each).
Its definitely better value to go for lunch or dinner at Cafe Mickey, compared to breakfast there. The characters are there for all 3 meals, and again, you don't need to pay premium board plan prices to eat lunch or dinner there - order a couple of pizzas and sides (like Pizza Hut) between you all and it works out really good value for money (for DLP).
  • Iv just read somewhere that people sometimes pay the reduced adult price for buffallo bills and then buy 2 premium meal plans for the children ? Sorry to ramble im confusing myself but obviously want to pay as little as possible ;)

no you can't - the meal plans at DLP are all very inflexible, you have to pay for any meal plan you want for each member of your party, and for all nights you have booked the hotel for. So for example, if your daughter is aged 3 or over, and you book 2 nights at the hotel, you have to pay for the meal plan for the 3 of you, for both nights.

I've never heard of that, sorry.
  • Sorry completely missed your replies before droning on - i saw the just buying the children premium meal plans idea on netmums - should have known better ! We will be going as a family of four with a 3 and 4 year old - im having trouble finding discounted tickets to the wild west show is it something i need to call to add on ? Thanks for all your help !
  • It just seems like the meal plan would be £184 for the day inc all of us into the wild west show and cover lunch or at the moment without a discount just the show will be £180.60 so for the £3 we get another meal out of it somewhere potentially quite nice x
  • Have found some here cheaper now iv said that however we were hoping to go in january ( cant link as am new but the ticketnet french site has them for 35 or 40 euros march to nov 20-13 )

yes but thats only going to work if you are only going to DLP and staying onsite for one night. Is that your plan?
