  • What a great idea IA!

    Well:

I'm finally in a job I love - have been here 5 months on Thursday and have barely noticed it.

I have a husband I adore - never thought I'd find anyone but there's a man out there who loves me (and I found him :D )

There's so much to look forward to, from a 'date' tomorrow to the cinema, our cycling holiday in Sept and our safari next year (all being well with the saving!), when we'll get to meet our African cousins :T

We've just moved into what I hope will be the family den. It's expensive but we're doing our best to pay it off :A

It's raining and it'll do our patchy lawn some good
MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!
Girl Cub due 14th September :D
  • I don't have to go to work at the moment so can relax at home
I may have found another (temp) job starting next month
My husband and I, and our rats are well (we have pet rats)
I can afford the only bills left to pay this month
I had pizza baguettes for breakfast
It's not raining here (but that means I have to mow the lawn if it doesn't start raining soon)
And I've got 2 bids on my ebay stuff so far

I've got over £30 on my Boots gift card, and over £20 in points :)
Mark Cueto & Jason Robinson are in the England Rugby World Cup squad (phwoa!) :D
My brother has finally got his new job confirmed after weeks of waiting for references :j
I've got over £60 of bids on my Ebay stuff :T
Me & mine are all well

have a good DFW day, everyone!
  • Good idea! I was feeling really grumpy today because I dont get paid for two weeks and am sitting waiting for my debt action plan to kick in! its so frustrating not being able to do anything with all my good intentions!

    BUT-

    1) i am having a NSD :A
    2) i am store cupoard eating so no money spent there either..
    3) my jeans still fit even though my gym membership is STILL not processed!
    4) i love my housemates because they make me laugh and offer me cups of tea
    5) it can ALWAYS be worse than it is!
    6) i have £2.86 in change which i counted last night and was just lying around my house! :T

  • Erm...
The kids are back at school - yipee ;)
The sun is shining so I have been building my garden wall all day - having a break cos it's too hot now !!
My wall is nearly finished after the terrible summer weather we've had.
I must have lost some weight with all the humphing big breeze blocks I've done today.

Great to hear you are off the anti-d's IA, and good luck for the future.
    Have a great day everyone,
    MrsB.

    It's only a game

    1. I am cooking muffins to put in the freezer - carrot and coconut are done, poppy seed and sour cream ones in the oven, and blackberry to be made next using free fruit nabbed from the hedgerows!

    2. I can hear the children and OH laughing in the other room. Always a good sound.

    3. Wireless internet means I can be on MSE while being domestic goddess type person :D
