the 'little bit of positive thinking for a rainy day' thread...

Well it's chucking it down here and quite a few people seem to be having bad news and problems recently so I think it's time for a little bit of positivity!
What good things have happened to you or have you done recently? What's good about your life right now?

Here's mine..
  • As of today I'm finally off the anti-depressants.. it's been a long 6 months but I'm happy to have 'me' back..
  • Our child benefit went in today meaning we can pay for our car tax tomorrow without getting into more debt.
  • It may be raining but rain is good for the garden :)
  • My children, husband and I are happy and healthy.
  • It's a month tomorrow til the DFW blackpool meet up!!!!
:):D  ;) :j :D  :o;) :j  :D  ;):D :j

    Fab idea IA

    Mine are

    * Car tax due end of the month but I've saved £75 towards the £99 so far with another 2 weeks to go

    * My savings for my new house are still on target

    * My DD is coming out with loads of new words every day

    * There's a flower stall on the market so I can see lots of pretty flowers without having to buy any

    Ooooh happy thoughts.... erm...

I have lost about 10 lbs in weight so far.

We are all in good health.

The kids are away at the weekend camping so I have OH to myself for two whole days :D

    I love OH very much.

I'm not going camping so get to sleep in my nice comfy bed.

Whilst on holiday I get paid so will have money for the end of the week.

    It's raining, but I'm indoors :D

    *Car running well (*touches wood*)
*Recieved application form for new job with LOADS of benefits, 15min from our new (potential) home.
