    *slopes back in*

Seeing as though other old names are back, I thought I'd rejoin if you'll have me back?

Since I was last on here I've gone through a divorce, moving back with my parents (exactly as fun as it sounded!), a new relationship (now engaged!) and moving in together.

I've also had a massive shock these past two weeks and a big family secret has come out that I'm trying to process.

This month started with a holiday in America, leading to massing Sephora binges (including one whilst drunk where I spent $200 and didn't remember half of what I got the morning after!!) and has culminated in tonight's random purchases in Selfridges (because the yo Sushi queue was too long so I went "too look"!) bringing this months INs to 100. I wish I was joking!

Once again, I'm back to buying in a vain attempt to try and make myself feel good rather than deal with what's going on in my life. It really needs to stop.

Thankfully, the Sephora binges were mostly the value sets so the number of items is crazy but the sizes are small so hopefully I should make progress at getting it all down again!

    I've missed you all though!

WB Evilsquid, glad you have found some new happiness and hope that you can find some inner peace too, to deal with the rest of things.

UU of my HG foot cream Aldi Lacura 10% Urea. This is only ever available on Specialbuy. This was a 150 ml tube and 2 of 3 that I bought c. March. I will be spinning the last one out by using it alternatively with a Wilko coconut and vanilla body butter. It's a perfectly decent body butter but I like to apply something a little lighter in summer.

Thought I'd revisit my July PP list as we are a week away from the end of the month:-

    [STRIKE]Clinique DDML[/STRIKE]
    Elemis serum
    [STRIKE]Elemis PCMC eye serum[/STRIKE]
    UG dry shampoo
[STRIKE]LE bergamot and lime shower gel
LE Bergamot and lime body lotion
    L'Occitane magnolia fragrance[/STRIKE]
    MB white mulberry hand lotion
    Sanctuary hand wash
    Champ eyes hand cream

My iPad won't let me edit my quote for some reason. Anyway with only 3 days left of the month I thought I'd post my progress re the above items that are still ongoing, post 2 UUS Not on the list and then catch up with you all.

I have two phials of the serum left which I'll use today and tomorrow. The dry shampoo feels very very light and I'm hoping that will be gone in the next couple of days. I've brought the MB hand lotion home to use as body lotion to go with my Philosophy Pure Grace shower gel. Have replaced this lotion at work with an OPI Avojuice. The Sanctuary hand wash has at least only two squirts left. It's our kitchen hand wash. I'm off work today as its Emma's birthday and am planning on cooking some soup so will be washing my hands lots in the kitchen. The Champneys hand lotion tube is cut open but there's masses of product left so this and the MB lotions will probably be the only products left on my PP this month.

So the 2 UUs I have are:-

Aussie Shower Smoothie. WDNBA vile sweet fragrance. Have another one on the go called No Rush which smells the same.

benefit porefessional. I inherited this tube from Emma. It was full sized and had about a third of the tube left. Didn't like the feel of this very much. WDNBA.

Have had some INs too. Ordered the essentials kit from liz Earle as I'm on my last full size of C&P, IBST and skin repair. I will get a free hand serum and nail colour with this kit. To qualify for the 15% discount I also ordered a 30ml IBST spritzer bottle for Emma to travel with to Tanzania and a travel tube of Intensive nourishment mask as I want to try this again and have nearly finished the Brightening mask.

Went shopping with Emma on Saturday and bought a couple of items from Lush for her.

We are off to the Trafford Centre this afternoon with the intention of buying Emma some Bare Minerals bare skin foundation as she had a makeover with it last Saturday and it looked much better than the MAC foundation she was wearing.

Evening everyone, what awful weather it has been today. Feels a lot colder too but can't complain as the weather has been so lovely recently.

Happy birthday to mrs moneypenny, asajj and Fizz. Hope you have a lovely holiday too Fizz - are you going somewhere warm and sunny?

Can't remember who mentioned about Marie Kondo on here but thank you whoever did! I am loving reading the thread on here about it all and am going to download the book over the weekend and get de-cluttering!

Finally a few UU here of things that I include within this challenge:

    - Bare Minerals Matte powder foundation, full size - WDBA. This is my go to foundation, I love it as it is just so quick and easy to apply when I am in a rush in the morning (which is every morning :rotfl:) Think the shade I had in this was slightly too light for me so when I repurchase I am going to get a slightly darker one. Going to try and hold off repurchasing for a while and UU some of my other foundations first but think I am going to miss this one.

    - Lancome hypnose star mascara, mini - WNBA, prefer the normal hypnose one.

Have recently UU one of my favourite perfumes too, Angel by Thierry Mugler. Definitely going to repurchase but again am going to try and hold of for a bit as it is fairly pricey

im buying my daughter some Bare Minerals foundation today. It really suits her - not at all Carey. She's also a fan of Lancôme Hypnose Star.

Did you know you can refill Angel at Boots? Wish you could do this with all fragrances.

I have definitely stopped buying makeup and only searching for HG's now. It's been a long process but when you see how much money you wasted on products it really makes you rethink your shopping habit

I agree. I don't shop around for many things now and know what I like. I've come to the conclusion too that it's better to invest in HGs than go for a substitute I won't enjoy.
