Hope everyone is well and pampering.
VALM we had a weekend in a lovely hotel in sheringham (Norfolk) we love it there. So much so we are going back with the kids in a couple of weeks for the summer hols.
Treated myself to a proper chiropodist appt a couple of weeks ago not a pamper and paint job one where they really give your feet a going over, scalpel off the hard skin and cutting your nails properly. I've never had that done before but it was £20 very well spent I came out feeling like I was walking on air, my feet have never felt so good.
Have just completed a surgery for a hand Cream I've been testing not sure what it was but it was good.
Your trip sounds lovely. I love having my feet pampered and must book in before I go away.
Ladies, my LE order came yesterday too and I am so pleased with it. I totted up how much the freebies were (consisting of two free gifts with the essentials kit plus three free gifts for spending £50.00) and the total came to about £43.00. I see that their sale has now started and those lovely indulgent shower gels and lotions are reduced. Am going to resist though.
I am however going to Cheshire Oaks on Saturday as we need new luggage for our holiday. I also want a new cross over body bag and no doubt will also wander into L'Occitane, Cosmetics Company, Yankee Candle and Kipling. Yankee Candle and Jack Wills are both new outlets since I last visited so looking forward to seeing those. Has anyone seen the new advertised Yankee Candle range called Barbershop? They sound divine.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Thanks for the tip off VALM ! You've also got me wanting to go and check out the LE sale
UU
Figs and Rouge Sweet Geranium lip balm - came in a beauty box ages ago. And probably went off ages ago too. It was one of those gritty melty ones. WNB.
Looking at my list I see the next one I have lined up is a geranium one as well, but I don't know if I can face the flavour again straight away.0 -
A few UUs to report for the month - not sure if I'll manage anything else in the next 2 days
2nd - Astringent Cleanser/Toner. Replaced with another identical from stock
22nd - Sure roll-on deodorant. OK, but I prefer stick deodorants. Replaced with another Sure roll-on.
25th - Tesco frequent use shampoo. Hated it as it was very watery. Replaced with an 'already open' shampoo that doesn't have much left in the bottle.
27th - Sure roll-on deodorant. Turns out the replacement I go out was almost totally gone alreadyReplaced with a stick deodorant.
Also a GA - a bottle of sun cream to my son. He started an outside job at the very end of last month, and early this month came home burnt from the sun. Said he hadn't any sun cream, so I gave him my Tesco value SPF30 which is the highest I had (and which I don't really use myself).Cheryl0 -
WB Evilsquid and impressive INs :P
Sold an eye palette and a lip gloss so 2 outs and probably that is it for me for July!
Well actually it isn't! TA Nip Fab Cellulite Fix. Have this for ages and i think it was off as it stung last time I used it.
GA Dove Summer Glow Body Lotion to a friend.
UU a 30 ml Honeymania Hand Cream from Body Shop. It is nice but effective enough.ally.0 -

Me too. If forced to commit to using a handful of brands for the rest of my life I reckon Ren would be one of my choices.
I got an email about a good Ren deal the other day, but you had to spend £50 to qualify and the only thing I might need in the next month or two is a cleanser which costs £15... I pondered for a while and got as far as putting the cleanser in my shopping basket but eventually deleted the email and shut the website without ordering.
I could have found lots of things I love to order and spent way more than that, but nothing I need. And if I think about it hard, there was nothing I wanted more than I want to have a tidier house, more money in the bank and a bit more pride in having control over my spending.0 -
I went for an eyebrow wax in Boots, Benefit counter and they made me wait for 10 minutes and to apologise gave me a free Benefit Gimme Brow Gel. Also through Twitter , i got a Tanning Shop lipgloss. 2 Free INs :dance:ally.0

One uu, body shop cocoa butter body scrub 50ml. WBA but already have more stashed. I like the scent and the consistency of this scrub. It's nice and rough but doesn't sting like I find the boots mango one did.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

I am on a roll, three more UU this morning and I succeeded in resisting the temptation to visit Planet Organic yesterday too.
Aveda Madder Root conditioner (full size) - WBA, this does seem to enhance the colour of my hair and it's pretty soft too. I would still need a richer one to use from time to time but having dug this out again in an attempt to UU all the nearly empty stuff I've been pleasantly surprised at how controllable my hair is after use.
Origins A Perfect World Deep Cleanser (15ml) - WNBA - seemed to get in my eyes rather easily and then sting like crazy when it did. Don't have the same issue with my Ren cleanser.
Mio Double Buff (50ml) - I got this in a trial box of Mio products from You Beauty - products aimed at the fitness market instead of the usual mother range. It's "double" because it has both scrubby bits and enzymes to dissolve roughness. Usually prefer a salt scrub in oil but I have to admit although it felt a bit gentle compared to salt scrubs the parts of my body I've used it on are really nice and soft so perhaps the enzyme thing has made a difference. I guess I use enzyme exfoliators rather than scrubs on my face and they work pretty well. WMBA - I will check out how pricey it is once I've UU the rest of my scrub stash (not quite as bad as the shower gel / body lotion one but still got enough to see the year out at least).0 -
I have a few final UU's for July to add.
16. Lee Stafford purple shot for blonde hair. WDBA I am obsessed with these. Expensive little things but my hair is short so I get about 4 washes out of each one instead of just the 1. They take all the brassiness out of my blonde and perk it back up to silvery platinum. Leaving it in for longer than recommended also works to give a slight pinkish hue for days I am in the mood. Can't recommend these enough for any of you blondes out there!
17. 1 x Garnier Ultralift sachet. I am actually surprised with this, I really really liked the scent and I hadn't really expected to love it. will use up the rest of the sachets and maybe consider buying a full one when I can see the bottom of my drawers again
18. Como Shamballa Shower gel. WDNBA I hated this scent, really was a struggle to use it to the end. I didn't even bother to swish water around to get the last from the bottle because it would mean 1 extra use and I couldn't bear itnot very Money saving of me but hey ho...I think there is another 1 or 2 shower gels in the stash that I have similar feelings about so I think I will take a break from UUing things I hate and use my new passion fruit shower gel from the body shop for a few weeks
July 2015 - £997 in Debt.
No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries challenge, started June 2015 UU x 18, TA x 6, IN x 26.

I know what you mean, there are some things I really am not looking forward to UU and it's hard to convince myself to use them.
Whatever possessed me to buy banana scented shower gel and body butter from the Body Shop in the sale (a number of years ago) I do not know. I mean, I like eating them and I do like other gourmand scents (vanilla for example), but what adult really wants to smell of bananas? Can't say I am surprised I've never seen it in their shops since.
The shower gel got UU ages ago as handwash but the body butter is still lurking and though it's old it's refusing to go off. I might end up TA... it's not like it cost much and it will clash terribly with any perfume. The only other option is when I've finished my foot cream stash I might use on my feet at night - that's about as close as I'd want it to my nose!0
