Evening everyone, what awful weather it has been today. Feels a lot colder too but can't complain as the weather has been so lovely recently.

Happy birthday to mrs moneypenny, asajj and Fizz. Hope you have a lovely holiday too Fizz - are you going somewhere warm and sunny?

Can't remember who mentioned about Marie Kondo on here but thank you whoever did! I am loving reading the thread on here about it all and am going to download the book over the weekend and get de-cluttering!

Finally a few UU here of things that I include within this challenge:

- Bare Minerals Matte powder foundation, full size - WDBA. This is my go to foundation, I love it as it is just so quick and easy to apply when I am in a rush in the morning (which is every morning :rotfl:) Think the shade I had in this was slightly too light for me so when I repurchase I am going to get a slightly darker one. Going to try and hold off repurchasing for a while and UU some of my other foundations first but think I am going to miss this one.

- Lancome hypnose star mascara, mini - WNBA, prefer the normal hypnose one.

Have recently UU one of my favourite perfumes too, Angel by Thierry Mugler. Definitely going to repurchase but again am going to try and hold of for a bit as it is fairly pricey

Nivea smooth nourishing hand cream - WBA sad this is gone, I'm not keen on the other Nivea hand cream I had (and annoyingly I've got more if those in the stash but no more of this one!!) but I really liked this one. I preferred the way it smelled and I think it did a better job.

Nivea powder touch roll on - WBA did an ok job, smells nice.

Bomb cosmetics portofino blossom bath blaster - Wnba, I've got another, but although it smelt nice as a blaster when I put it in water the scent all but disappeared :-( I had to throw in a load of other stuff to make my bath smell so it misses the point of using a bath bomb :-/ disappointed with this as I've had loads of boasters by them that I've loved!

I'm on the naughty step as I couldn't resist the body shop summer sale. With the 40% off and then some more on top of that with another code plus free delivery, I decided to get some bits as I've been wanting to try the smoky poppy range for ages and it was down to 3 pounds or something silly for the 200ml butters and scrubs. I ordered:

Born lippy lychee lip balm
Christmas gift pack with lip butters: honey mania, mango, coconut, Shea and strawberry. (Been wanting the honey mania one, the pack worked out cheaper per butter in the sale).
Smoky poppy edt
Smoky poppy butter
Smoky poppy scrub
Raspberry scrub
Chocomania butter
Chocomania dry oil (this smells absolutely divine!)
Berry lip roll on
White musk libertine body mist
White must libertine mini set (mini edt and body lotion)
Jasmine and white frangipani room spray

The lip is on the mend where I put my teeth through it, I can just feel a ball of scar tissue inside. It's healed enough that I could gently use the lush scrub on them tonight, so hopefully I'll get that used up soon! I've had a few weeks of being scared to use anything whilst it healed as every time I used a lip balm itd split right open again; my lips are pretty dire condition now! Thank god it's healed enough that I can use some lip products again!

I have a uu

Rituals Organic White Lotus & Yi Yi Ren 3 in 1 Miracle Hand Scrub - this was from the recent Rituals set and I actually used it as body scrub, it was lovely but maybe a bit too gentle.

and a little in

Witch Blemish Stick - my skin is having some sort of hormonal melt down and this is cheap enough and easy to apply to blemishes.

A few UU to report.

- Lancome bi-facial eye make up remover - full size

It does the job but I am hoping to find something more natural once I've got through my stockpile so probably WNBA. I've moved onto a travel size of this which is part used.

- Travel size origins face wash

This was quite old and I don't even know if they make it anymore - WNBA. For a wash to use with my Clarisonic in the shower I love REN face washes - I have the the Rosa Centifolia cleansing gel at the moment, and also like the Evercalm one.

- Clarins eye contour balm - full size

WNBA. It does the job but it's nothing special. I seem to have a particularly large back supply of eye creams to UU - some might get re-purposed as neck creams or something as am not sure it's wise to keep something open for that long in a jar, especially when it's going near your eyes. Tubes are a bit safer from bacteria as you don't stick your fingers in the them.

I have quite a few tubes that I have cut open to get the last little bit out and some others items that are very close to empty so more to report soon. Just got to work out what to replace with - making sure I move onto part open items and leaving the unopened ones till later.

A couple of questions for people.

a) Does anyone have naturally wavy - curly hair with dry / itchy scalp and can recommend any natural shampoo and conditioner - i.e. no SLS / parabens etc. I've been thinking about trying the Liz Earle when I run out of conditioner but I might go back to Aveda's Damage Remedy.

b) Anyone else finding they want to end up with a list of HG products from a few brands only? I don't know it's wanting not to be tempted by special offers from dozens of brands and to be able to make the most of the ones on the chosen brands or just a way of cutting down choice to reduce mental energy invested in beauty products, but I am finding I'd like to have a few HG brands and just ignore the others. Not sure if it's achievable to then get the results I'd like mind you and my stockpiles won't make this a possibility for ages anyway!

I have definitely stopped buying makeup and only searching for HG's now. It's been a long process but when you see how much money you wasted on products it really makes you rethink your shopping habit

A rose soap bar, brand unknown from Boots testing panel - would like to know what this was as I quite liked it. It lathered up well and the scent was lovely.

Having a slow month, but lots of spluttering stuff to UU next month

Scraped in another two UUs, it's felt really sloooooooow this month!

6. Kerastase Bain Satin 1 250ml. Love the smell of this but it's expensive for what it is and I think it can be a bit harsh on the old barnet so probably won't buy again. It's been in the shower for YONKS so I can't like it that much. Will carry on using up the Lee Stafford Bleach Blonde purple shampoo which is fab but I hate the smell. I am so hard to please!!!

7. Tresemme Keratin Smooth Deep Treatment Masque 300ml. I quite like this but I prefer the Macadamia mask. Found this in my stash with only a few uses left so thought I'd get it used up and out the door! Will finish off using up the Macadamia mask.

Been having a bit of a sort out here, no smelly related OUTs yet but there's still tomorrow. Have UU 3 Garnier sachets so far, doesnt seem as good as th last time I tried it.

I've been MIA for a bit, just popping in to report a few UUs.

Alberto Balsam Shampoo and conditioner 250ml each. WBA but have others I want to try out once I finish my stash

TBS Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash 100ml , again WBA but need to get to the end of my stash. I have a massive amount of face stuff for some reason!

and a random perfume sample. was ok not especially memorable though

BTW, has anyone ever had a perfume go cloudy? And does this mean it's "off"? Its the D&G Sicily if that makes a difference, and looking online it seems as though it isn't available but seems to be quite pricey! I don't have much left so selling on was never an option, but I'm not in love with it either. Hmmm.
