I feel shamed! Surely that list is deserving of a
I do have a lot of things that are on their way out and I'm taking a new approach to tackling things so hopefully I can get things under control but I'm not silly enough to think that the palettes and eyeshadows are going down in number anytime soon! I've only ever hit pan on an eyeshadow once!Deleted_User - we would never judge you, none of us are in a position to. I know what you mean about the eyeshadows, my stash is massive in that area too. A while ago I mentioned on here about the project panning community on Youtube and it really helped some people, they are a group of mainly American ladies who are working on getting their eyeshadow stashes down, some for you to check out if you are interested are PrettyPistol86, AmberF, you should find others from there.
Several of us have the candle problem too. I am going to start mentioning my candles in my uu's so people can get a little review on those too, I have recently finished:
Yankee Candle Beach Flowers - this was a small jar and it burnt down evenly and smelt nice but not a strong scent throw. WNBA
SpaceNK Vetiver Cedar - this was bought half price, it is a lovely white jar which lights up when lit, this was a masculine fragrance but very nice, strong with a good scent throw. WMBA at half price only though.
When I saw your post I thought of Amber F on You Tube too. Check out her recent inventory video where she states how many palettes she is going to eventually own. Quite a few of the You Tubers have panned the Lorac Pro pallette. I am trying my hardest to finish a Bobbi Brown single shadow and Cargo blush. It's taking some work!
Dolly that Space NK candle sounds gorgeous. I sold one of my YC large jars at work recently. My friend has recently moved house and for the team collection we gave her it with everyone giving me the collection money. It was Oud Oasis fragrance. Must go light all my candles now you've reminded me. Have a Shea Butter one that's not got much burn time left.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Hi Valm, that sounds like a really good idea. Now I am considering buying the Liz Earle again just so i can test the results :rotfl:
I have never bought anything on qvc... So was not sure what a TSV was....am both intrigued and terrifiedI think I need to stay strong for another 2-3 months before I even allow myself a glance at that Channel!!
That's where my addiction started. I got really bad and was constantly ordering, get sucked in by the "phenomenal value " until it dawned on me that I was paying for a load of stuff I didn't want or like. Now I only buy the kits if it's good value for the items I will use in it.Deleted_User wrote: »Thanks dolly84! I have heard of the project panning but not looked into it properly. Eyeshadows are so tricky because its not like body lotion where you can slather on more than normal to use it up. I think it's not so much the quantity I have in general that's ridiculous but the number of ones that are almost identical shades. As for the candles. That's slightly worse than usual because I went to Ikea so stocked up. I had that SpaceNK vetiver cedar candle! I got it in the sales and I loved it. Bit gutted they don't sell it any more.
Hi emma-6584! Don't be jealous, it's stressing me out at the moment! Problem with makeup is that it doesn't take up much room. All of mine fits in two drawers. Luckily I don't wear nail polish or proper lip products - just balm. Almost all the lip & nail makeup I have came from beauty boxes, which incidentally have not been a good thing to have discovered. I only buy them if I know what I'm getting now.
I have a question for everyone: how would you say your stash is split between high end, midrange and high street? I have hardly any high end, most of my skincare is mid range and most make up is high street.
Hope you're having a great weekend!
my skincare is high end as I have found all my HG products and don't want to change. I suppose my make up is too but since seeing dupe blogs on You Tube and receiving Make up alley messages about dupes I'm open to trying "drugstore " purchases. Am planning a trip to Super Target when we visit the USA in September.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Dazedandconfused wrote: »These are June ins but I forgot to go on at the time. It was an offer on serums etc.
Superdrug B glycolic cleanser - I'm so impressed with this. It was under £4 and came with a cloth. Using it once a week has massively improved my dry skin. My skin looks much more alive and its reduced the fine lines between my eyebrows love it
Superdrug optimum anti acing night serum concentrate - on offer and is for when my boots one is finished
B radiant rejuvenating day serum - not started this yet again it's for when my boots one is used up
Hair - spot the 3 for 2 offer
John Freda sea salt spray - I love this so far
John Freda go blonder shampoo
John Freda go blonder conditioner
then travel minis 2 x of the shampoo and 1 x conditioner - nearly used one of these already when I was away
UU 2 x soap and glory shampoo minis - was ok nothing special
UU - lush 1 x aobs and I've already got another one in. My favourite cleanser
UU 1 x rimmel powder that I've had for about a million years
In 1 x MUA powder. I'm going to give this a go. I tried a collection one and whilst the colour is pale it leaves your skin looking quite patchy
In 1 x rimmel matte bb cream in very light as nearly used one up. Highly recommend if you are pale as hell and only want a light coverage for summer
I will finish one at some point this month
In Barry M concealer - I quite like this
Really fed up that I can't get collection lasting perfection. Shade 1 is like gold dust. Superdrug said its because of beauty bloggers the teens buy them all the day they cone in. Drives me mad as its one of the few high street concealer so sufficiently pale for me
UU ALdi serum - not keen
In - collection lipstick in cafe au lait
I think I've used up a s&g mini gloss this month
I'm about to buy my first shower gel in 6 months
Would love to know how you get on with the Superdrug serums. XBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Deleted_User - at one time most of my stash was drugstore with a few mid range. Now it is probably about 20% high end, 50% mid and 30% drugstore.
Vanya - I would have really struggled with £5 MAC lipsticks too.
I have a couple of uu's
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea EDT 50ml - I love that you can actually smell the tea in this but WNBA because I can't smell it at all once it has dried.
Palmolive Scrub - this was a freebie sachet on the front of Superdrug's Dare magazine. WNB it was rubbish, did smell nice though.
and the ins
L'oreal Elvive Triple Resist Shampoo 400ml
L'oreal Elvive Triple Resist Conditioner 400ml
these were both £1.95 in Wilkinson and it is for weak hair which breaks and falls - that is totally me so worth a try for that price.

and a face wash I can't remember the name of
there is more I am afraid
Philosophy Amazing Grace EDT
Philosophy Sunshine Grace EDT
Philosophy Amazing Grace Shower Gel 240ml
Philosophy Amazing Grace Body Emulsion 480ml
this was a TSV and I bought it for the Sunshine Grace, I am besotted with Summer Grace which I can't get hold of and this is very similar.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Will let you know about the serums. I've tried a B one before but it was on offer so I don't think it was the right one for my skin.0

Deleted_User if it makes you feel any better, my list was around 475 at last count and that was 9 months ago before I went on an epic emotional spending spree.
I'm not saying mine is bigger than yours but... :rotfl::rotfl:;)0
