    Sorry, I couldn't find it in the list ... what's TSV? :)

Not a challenge acronym I'm afraid. It means Today's Special Value and refers to the daily deals on QVC.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Hi everyone!
Had a bit of a terrible time with INs since my last post but it wasn't all my fault I swear!

    Here's the UUs first:
5&6. Crabtree & Evelyn 25g handcream x 2 (La source and Nantucket Briar) WDBA as part of a set in the sales like I have before but not full price
    7. L'Oreal Absolute BiPhase Makeup remover WMBA. Used to be almost HG but find it quite greasy now
    8. Sanex Dermo Repair Shower Cream . WDBA. Have another in stash
    9. Vosene Shampoo. WNBA. Doesn't seem to work as well as it used to.
    10. No7 Lovely Lashes Mascara GWP size. Can't believe I persevered as long as I did. Does nothing for me. Also, it's incredibly wet and it flakes.

    And for the INs
    1. Hairy Jayne Hair Perfume (from You Beauty Discovery box)
    2. Emma Hardie Protect and Perfect Sample (from You Beauty Discovery box)
    3. St Tropez in shower Gradual tan (from You Beauty Discovery box)
    4. Nip and Fab Body slim fix (from You Beauty Discovery box)
5-12. Various sachets and an Urband Fudge Miracle ends. This little box of goodies just turned up on my doorstep from Superdrug!
13-15. Organic Pharmacy trio of minis (Free with Elle)
    17. Simple Micellar Water (Free sample)
18&19. Japonesque eyeshadows, one single, one duo (John Lewis sale)
    20. Mini Garnier Micellar Water - was cheaper to buy this and get free delivery than pay to have my toothbrush heads (which I don't count) delivered. Will be great for travel, love this stuff.

I admit the Japonesque stuff was a treat but a lot of the rest was free and some of it I didn't even know was coming!
Will post a list of everything I have later. Finally got round to adding everything up. Bit of an eyeopener!x

UU after a long time, one tube of Kobayashi Charcoal toothpaste. Took ages to get used to the (very different) flavour but I love it now and my mouth feels so much fresher and healthier. WDBA
    Looking ahead

    Happy Friday all!

    2 UUs today
Sample of Elie Saab perfume - WMB - I do like it but perfume isn't one of those things I am tempted by for some reason. I have another of these.
Algotherm soap - I was trying to find this online to buy but couldn't. I brought it back from France. Have to go back! WBA if I could find it.
I've got several kilos worth of soap in the cupboard anyway.

Hi everyone :) only just caught up with this month's new thread.
I don't have any UUs, I have lots of things spluttering but nothing actually finished yet, think I said that last month too :o
Hope everyone has a nice weekend :D

Hello everyone, hope you are all well.
I've been absent, bit of a different lightbulb moment. Originally I had thought that I would like to get down to a handful of items, one of everything but gifts kept 'derailing' me. Then I thought, hang on, they will be used eventually, means I don't have to buy any. It's fine not to be completely minimalist. I was originally inspired by my minimalist pal who has very sensitive skin. I don't .. so I can use different things and enjoy ringing the changes.
    So I currently have:
3 serums in use 2 bought, 1 nearly gone, 1 freebie.
4 face creams with SPF for summer, 1 freebie, 1 unopened from last year.
3 shower creams in use, plus three freebies in stash.
3 shampoo/conditoner sets in use, 1 nearly gone plus 1 in stash.
    3 anti-perspirants, 2 were gifts.
3 body creams - all gifts,
    1 body lotion (go me!)
    2 x foot creams. (HG)
1 freebie eye cream, 1 bought eye cream, 1 bought eye gel
    2x Argan oil for hair.
    1 x face oil
1 x eyebrow dye kit. Views on eyebrow dye kit here. https://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R2623T6SMMMTMU/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.
  • This is my full list. There are a few things I've decided not to count (deodorant, hair removal, anything dental) but I have decided to count scented candles and wax melts as they seem to be just as much of a weak point as beauty for me.

    Here goes... Don't judge me!!

    MAKE UP
    37 Palettes
    9 Quads
    22 Mascara
    16 Single eyeshadow
    3 Duo/Trio eyeshadow
23 Eyeshadow Stick (several are sealed from a joblot on ebay)
    3 Cream eyeshadow
    15 Foundation (some sample sized)
    2 CC Cream
    2 BB Cream
    11 Blusher
    6 Concealer
    7 Lip Products
    3 Face primer
    3 Eye primer
    13 Eyebrow products
    20 Eyeliners
    1 Highlighter
    4 Powder
    1 Bronzer
    4 Nail polish

    FACE
    3 Packs of wipes
    24 Lipbalm
    33 Mini/travel size
    7 Masks
    13 Moisturisers
    6 Cleansers
    9 Toners/Micellars
    4 Serums
    3 Treatments
    2 Eyecreams

    BODY
    4 Butter/Cream
    2 Butter minis
    9 Lotion
    3 Scrubs
    8 Bath/Shower products
11 Bath minis (10 from one Molton Brown giftset)
    9 Body minis
    21 Handcream

    HAIR
    11 Shampoo
    10 Conditioner
    7 Mini Shampoo/Conditioner
    14 Other hair products

    OTHER
    14 Perfume
    7 Body spray/mist
    18 Perfume Samples/minis
    19 Any other sachets
15 Candles (not including tealights of which there are many)
14 Wax Melts (subscribed to that Flamingo Melt Crowd, didn't I?)

I feel shamed! Surely that list is deserving of a
I do have a lot of things that are on their way out and I'm taking a new approach to tackling things so hopefully I can get things under control but I'm not silly enough to think that the palettes and eyeshadows are going down in number anytime soon! I've only ever hit pan on an eyeshadow once!

2 uu here... Weirdly both toothpastes have finished at the same time ( I work sleep ins so I keep one tube for use at work which lives in the staff bedroom)

Superdrug pro sensitive whitening - WBA pleasant taste and does a good job. Been replaced by tesco pro sensitive.

Colgate total care - Wmba does a nice job but I do prefer superdrug or tesco 'pro' sensitive ones. My teeth are sensitive so 'sensitive' toothpastes are better suited. I've replaced this (work use one) with a hello kitty toothpaste I've had stashed for ages.
