    Erm, the gross value was the one shown in the prices throughout, ie. 189 inc. VAT, 136 inc. VAT, 325 inc. VAT.

    Their invoice then gave a breakdown, informing you that (a) there was no delivery charge, (b) the VAT included in the 325 was 54.17 and (c) the amount net of VAT was 270.83.

    So it looks to me like it was exactly as it should be.
