Setanta Sports cancellation fiasco

Hi all,

I have just called the number in the posting above and was told the same email address. As a precaution I took the details of the advisor I spoke to (and put the date and time of the call in the email too - most companies have call recording). I have asked for a confirmation email .... I will post back if and when I hear anything!

I am certainly one of those who has just joined this forum to vent my anger about Setanta Sports, at least people listen on this forum unlike Setanta's cr** customer service. I saw some exec. from Setanta on Watchdog the other week going on about how they are doing their best and will cancel subscriptions via email, he was obviously the trainer of call centre staff, just more lies!!!

At least Sky's monopoly on sport in the UK is over, and hopefully someone will spot a gap in the market and another sports TV company will appear, they could make a killing just from Setanta cancellations.

Setanta also seem to be selling subscribers personal details to outfits like Scottish Power, from whom I now receive numerous calls asking me to 'compare' my gas and electric bills. Arrrrgh!!
