Yes indeed,the weekend is upon us.Time to do very little,unless you're working,in which case I send out my commiserations and hope that you get away with doing very little.

I've painstakingly added up all the lovely nsds collected so far,and have come up with the grand total of.... 104 nsds and with 24 nsdsers having posted,it means that our average is a fab 4.3 nsds each!!!

I'm just back from my travels and I'm claiming 3 more NSDs so I'm at 7 NSDs. I stayed with my sister and she had done a large shop and we basically went hiking every day - free food & exercise:D

Everyone is rushed off their feet preparing for The Ladies' Singles Final:

-Cheffie,looking debonair and handsome and as usual totally incomprhensible,but we can't have it all,can we?

Someone tell him that this does not include his chef's hat or his beloved rubber ducky.

Mrs Doyle,who has made enough egg sarnies that,if laid end to end would reach from here to Tatty's hometown and back.

Igor,busy as ever,this time in waiter's garb with the heady addition of short trousers and sock suspenders,ready to mix and pour a dazzling selection of alcoholic concoctions for the thirsty masses:
anchovy and asparagus iced tea with bite sized,deep fried cabbage anyone?
He was up all night making the horse's durveys,hence has had to take copious amounts of cocaine,no sorry,cake to stay awake and on his feet.
I just hope that the durveys are to everyone's taste: mini pilchard and tarragon quiches,sprout something or other,ferret flan,stoatburgers etc.

Hubert,stapped into his donkey spanx (a miracle),extra large donkey nappy in place,looking divine in his pink lame hotpants ballgirl ensemble,with his large hooves sheathed in the most delicate heels,full hair and make up.The works.Can he remember not to run on court when the feeling grabs him......

Knit Witch,The Only Girl,Nargle and scotmum dressed to the nines,already knocking back the bubbly,and looking jolly happy.
That's where my bottle of bubbly went....
I see girls,save a glass for me!
I just have to down a nice cuppa in order to keep Mrs Doyle happy.

And then there's marmite,for once not sobbing on Helga's shoulder because everything has gone pear shaped (uhoh...where's Helga and her voles?) but sitting back,relaxed,looking gorgeous as ever,wearing her best pretty frock and Jimmy Spongebob sandalettes,hoovering down a large G & T and ready to watch a cracking match!

Honestly,what could go wrong?

Yesterday was NSD 7 for me

Oh the shame! The embarrassment of it all! And I was only on my third [STRIKE] bottle[/STRIKE] glass of Fizzy Rancid Old Widow when we got clocked by the security guards and were all marched off out of the South London Tennis Club That Shall Never Be Mentioned Again! How dare they! How very dare they! Hubert is distraught, he so wanted to be ball donkey for Serena. Igor is sobbing because the crowd laughed at his sock suspenders and ginger chest wig. Cheffie is livid, he was about to con his way into a job at one of the royal residences - and not only did they throw him out, they also confiscated rubber ducky!
Back to the camp, folks, at least we can go Womble hunting......
