    Yayyy congrats Titch!!

Sauvignon Blanc, broker put in full application on Friday 26th June and they received it and asked for copies of all of our bits of paper on Tues 30th June.

Just hope the valuation goes OK, not many comparable properties that have recently sold in the area to gauge it. Getting homebuyers report or building survey done but not via lender on broker's advice, so still got that to come.
  • Morning, I called my broker this morning and she confirmed that our mortgage has been agreed subject to valuation! So relieved. Fingers crossed valuation comes back ok.

Great news Sauvignon Blanc, good luck with the valuation.

We officially received our mortgage offer yesterday. It felt amazing to have that pack in our hands.

    Our new timeline:

Offer one on house rejected 12.06.15
    Second offer accepted 12.06.15
Mortgage application in for new house 12.06.15
    Valuation completed 29.04.15
Valuation came back at agreed amount 01.07.15
    Received mortgage pack 07.06.15

    Very happy :)

Our Natwest timeline so far is as follows. Seems to be in line with others applying to Natwest.

16-JUN - AIP obtained from Natwest
    17-JUN - 1st viewing
    20-JUN - 2nd viewing
22-JUN - Offer made and accepted below asking price following a couple of rounds of negotiation
24-JUN - Full mortgage application submitted to Natwest
    08-JUL - Valuation & survey booked in for 15-JUL
  • Our valuation was booked in for Friday just gone. Hoping to hear something this week. Does your broker normally contact you or do you hear direct from Natwest re valuation?

    24/6 - Valuation carried out
25/6 - Text message from Optima saying they have been instructed to carry out the legal work

Just to update (better late than never!), mine completed on 8th July so a month from start to finish.

I'm interested to know this too. Ours was last Thurs. Website says can take up to five days for Natwest to get it and then up to 48 hours to send out the docs. I will probably drop my broker an email in the next couple of days if we haven't heard.

Applied for BTL remortgage application with NatWest. Switching my current residential mortgage to BTL to release equity.

    Timeline so far:
    1/5 - DIP
9/7 - Application submitted by broker
13/6 - Signed DD mandate sent

I called them today to understand their process. I was told application is with under writers and if everything is ok then it will move to next stage. Hopefully tomorrow.

It seems the pre-approve application before valuation.

Any idea how long it takes them to instruct valuation if application is approved ?
  • Our application was approved subject to valuation last Tuesday and the valuation took place on Friday. My broker said the underwriters were assessing the report yesterday and I should have an offer by end of this week/beginning of next.
