Congrats Sparkle.
My broker emailed today to say that mortgage has been approved and offer letter is in the post.
Submitted full application via a broker on the 11th June and they took valuation and survey fee on 24th. Survey conducted 29th June and returned very quickly next day on 30th June.0 -
Thanks Roje and Funder
Congratulation Funderreally happy for you, such a good feeling knowing that offer is on its way.

Our broker called on Friday afternoon to ask if we had received our offer yet, as she had also spoken to the solicitors and they hadn't.
She said that she had asked NatWest to reissue it so we should expect it through the post soon, but could still be up to 5 days.
A couple of hours after that conversation, the Optima website updated to say that the offer had been received and was being checked. Hopefully that means that they can request our redemption figure soon.
Still didn't get anything through the post this morning though, but I didn't really expect to.0 -
Hope you get your offer through soon mrstick. When we had our original offer for the house that fell through, our offer had to be re-sent out to us as we did not receive it.0

Well my valuation was fine but I was told that it's been re-referred back to the underwriters as my flat is above a shop (a pet food shop, my broker checked beforehand to see if that was okay - they said it was).
However, I received my offer in the post on Thursdayas did my solictor. Broker thought that was odd so called up NatWest to be told that the offer was issued in error and the decision is still with the underwriters.
Hope to get news Monday, this wait is driving me nuts!SwagBucks since 25/5/15 - £70 Amazon0 -
Broker had a call from Natwest today to say we've been approved subject to valuation which is on Thursday. Fingers crossed!

Yep!
Broker called this afternoon. Turns out the surveyor ticked the wrong box, he claimed that my flat was the commercial property not that it was 2 floors above it. So it was flagged by Natwest when it came back.
It was sorted while my broker was on the phone and I now have the offer which they said will be sent out by close of business today! :j So relieved and happy!
Hope you get on okay!SwagBucks since 25/5/15 - £70 Amazon0
