how I delt with my debts was instead of been addicted to wasting money I flipped it and became sort of obsessed with lowering my debts which was kinda like a challenge. every week / month I reduced my credit cards / overdrafts & other debts for around 18 months till my last payment . because I spent quite a while not spending anything I don't know what to do with money now LOL, I don't waste it any more that's for sure0

It may be worth giving Stepchange a call.
I have just set up a DMP with them. They are really good.
And my husband knows nothing about this.
I did it on my own debts only although one was a joint overdraft which has been included as well.
Good luck xx:happylove :happylove

I have just paid £10 off my N card. Not much but it is better than nothing.
Will contact all the cards to find out the full balance on each. I know each card has various balances with various APR's as they were done when offers ere sent to me.0 -

HBS x
I have a health condition that will never get any better. The depression is just one of the side effects of it. I do have tablets for that0 -

We couldn't afford to swap the cars. I need my car because of my health condition and OH needs his as he can do upto £35,000 mile a year depending on where he is working. Smaller cars would not be beneficial to us.0 -

You have joint accounts with your husband though so you are financially linked to one another. Your defaults will impact his credit file. Although that will only be an issue if he tries to apply for credit so you might get away with it.0 -
