  • Busy afternoon, swept path and weeded front of the house, cleaned and hovered my room, managed to do a bit of ironing, still have 1 basket full to do.

Meal plan for next week done and shopping list to go with it, off to a1di and B&M tomorrow, budgeted £65 for this weeks shopping, kids are eating me out of house and home, so might be slightly more.

Can't wait for payday tomorrow and can throw so money at the debt, really sad I know.

  • Good morning diary, i'm up with the lark as it is payday and I wanted to do the money shuffle ,

So far this morning I have paid another £25 to Next and I've also paid £113 to barc card which is the min payment, the good news is I am now in the 4s :j with barc card, although I won't change it on my sig until the new statement mid month, as there will be a small amount of interest as it is LLB card and I'm trying to keep it accurate.

I've worked out how much money I need to withdraw today, I'm trying to work with cash as much as possible as this tends to keep me on the straight and narrow, if I pay by card id doesn't seem real and I end up spending more.

    Meals today-
    B - Toast.
L - Tuna sandwich, crisps, fruit.
T - Brisket, rst pots. gravy , HM yorky puds & veg.
snacks - tortilla chips, fruit, cracker/cheese.

Better check surveys and then get dressed, busy day ahead.................... shopping with children:eek:.

  • Afternoon, quick round up of the day so far.

Went and did the food shop, via cash machine asI wanted to withdraw money to pay for everything.

So I spent £38.73 in a1di, £11.20 in B&M and£13.60 in B00ths so total food shop came in at £63.53, which is fantastic especially as I bought meat offer in B00ths which was 3 for £10 and got 2 whole chickens and 12 Cumberland sausage, so one of the chickens has gone into the freezer for another week, also B&M spends was cleaning stuff so should last a couple of weeks, I've kept change in my purse in case I've forgotten anything and if it is still there next week I will throw it at N£XT.

    Put £15 fuel in car.

I have also put £25 in money tin (budgeted £25 a week), for spends/activities next week, hopefully won't spend it all as we are having a quiet weekend and then next Fri kids are going to grandparents until Mon, so only 4 days to cover and DD is going to her friends Tue/wed, so might take them swimming Monday, take DS into big town Tuesday to spend a gift voucher he has and to get last of his school uniform (couldn't be bothered today), then maybe go bowling/cinema Thursday.

Had a £3 payment from mysurv£y hit paypa1 so going to send that to N£XT.

    Morning Diary.

Wow 1st August, not quite sure where this year is going, will be autumn soon and then the dreaded C word springs up.

Not much going on moneywise today DH is working, so a quiet day at home, might try and get children to help me in the garden, also need to do some baking and DD is cooking us a 3 course meal, which I'm sure is going to take all afternoon lol.

Was very good last night and portioned up left over beef and put it straight in the freezer, otherwise it would of ended up a midnight snack for DH, also had 2 potions of lasagne in the fridge which again I've put in the freezer, so they can feed myself and DH next weekend when kids are away.

£bay items not doing very well only 1 bid, they end tomorrow so fingers crossed they sell.

Think that's all from me this morning.x.
