Morning, slightly stressful due to school run starting again, DS has started secondary school today, luckily I'm not back at work until tomorrow, so wasn't as hectic as it could have been.

Checked banking etc and everything is looking ok, some pending rewards on a survey site have cleared, so I've redeemed £15 gift voucher for N£W L00K, will get DD something for xmas with it.
New statements for hal1fax, p0st 0ffice and mbn@ so sig has been updated.

Spends so far today £10 for DS school lunches, he is taking packed lunches but I'm putting £10 a month on his account for snacks, but he has been warned once it gone that's it until next month.

    Evening,

DS has loved his first day at school and can't wait to go back tomorrow, DD is back at school tomorrow and I'm back at work so its going to be back to manic mornings.

Made pasta bake for tea, but DH ended up working late so has had tea at the farm he is working at, no idea what time he will be in, told him I will stay up till 10pm but won't be able to stay awake any longer. have made pack ups for kids tomorrow and portioned up some pasta bake for my lunch to take to work tomorrow, beef casserole is prepped ready to bung in the slow cooker in the morning.

Only paid £1 to N£XT, declined an offer on £bay for a BIN item, only offered a third of what I haveit on for, £45 offered £15, now wonder if I should have accepted and got rid, but my gut feeling is to hang on its only been listed a day.

I love a good routine, its strange dropping my 2 at the bus stop though and not taking them to the school gates.

    Good Morning diary.

Sold the bluray overnight on £bay, so £10 sent to N£XT, which now means I'm in the 2s:j, So new challenge is to get it down to £250 by new statement time which I think is about 20th of the month, need to check that one.

Got up early this morning and went to a1di, b+m and b00ths before it got busy, total grocery spend £67.17, would have been slightly less but picked up a few whoopsed bits for the freezer that will do for next weeks tea's. Also bought a dew extra bits to make a Chinese for tea, DH was muttering about not having had a takeaway for ages, so instead of spending £30+ on a takeaway for the 4 of us I've bought ingredients to make sweet and sour crispy chicken and rice and hoi sin beef with noodles, also got prawn crackers, will probably cost a tenner for the 4 of us which is much cheaper and probably better for us.

Managed to remember to put washer on before going shopping so need to hang that out shortly, its bright sunshine here and need to make the most of it as it will soon be wet and cold.

Need to get some baking done, have some banana's past there best so may make banana and pecan muffins, will also make a tray bake for pack ups next week, really trying to live as simply and frugally as possible, I've been reading tilly's diary and she has just paid her mortgage off, the woman is amazing and a huge inspiration.

    Off to hang out washing.
