Morning ICBW at least you are aware of your spending and know when to reign it in. That's half the battle I think. I have set up a spending diary spreadsheet (may try YNAB but need to do more research). It really does motivate me to cut out things and keep an eye on everything.

I have noticed that quite a lot of people on the DFD have vouchers from various places. Are these due to surveys?

    Have a great Sunday xx

    Light xx

    Morning Light.

I try to keep a close eye on what comes in and out, I've seen a lot about YNAB, but I'm an old fashioned kind of girl and write it al down in a notebook, which works really well, I'm also trying to use cash as much as possible, never seems like real money when I hand a card over, which is probably my downfall. Thing with cash is I hate breaking into notes, so I know I won't break into a £10 note for a choc bar I will do without, I also carry all my loose change around with me instead of putting it in a tin, children disown me when I get to the self checkout and pay for things with 2p and 5ps :rotfl:.

My vouchers do tend to come from surveys, although I've been trying to get paypa1 where possible so I can pay it straight off N£XT account, you can pay with paypa1 with N£XT so it never hits bank account, so It feels like I've never had the money.

    Take care.x.

    Good morning diary.

Up early as DS bed is being delivered and it is one of those it will be delivered between 8am and 6pm:mad:.

Banking checked, updated sig and NEXT is only £20 from being in the 2s, so need to make £20 from somewhere as it is driving me nuts, it WILL be in the 2s by Friday.

Had a couple of real down days, beating myself up about debt, spending, life and being a bad mother because we havn't had a proper holiday etc, I have spent this morning listening to The Secret, I know some people don't believe in the universe giving to us, but its something I believe in and does give me strength, I suppose in the same way some people get their strength from religion. Anyway I feel much stronger and happier and ready to face the month of September positively, this negative wealth will be gone, I will go on the holiday of my dreams and my family will remain happy and healthy, it is all possible and it will be done in the next 3 years.

Off to check for surveys and freebies.

    Quick update before lunch.

Managed to get a few surveys done, none of which are near payout though.

Had an email to say I've won a American sniperon blu ray, do't have a blu ray player so will stick this on £bay, nice to have a win though.

Postie brought me letter from B0den with an offer of £10 off and free delivery, so have bought a bag in the sale, which ended up costing me £3.30, not sure whether I'm keeping it, going to use it as an xmas present or putting it on £bay, will see what its like when it arrives, I'm edging towards £bay.

I have listed 5 items on £bay, one of which is an item DH has said he is taking to the tip at the weekend, thought I would list it and its faults and if it hasn't got a bid by Friday it can go to the tip, but it doesn't harm to try, even if I only get a couple of quid for it it's better than nothing and I've listed it as collection only so would save us the fuel if it did sell.
