    Hey everyone,

well still not doing too bad but poor planning has let us down a bit. We had got into the habit of doing our weekly top ups on Sunday but then DH was away for the wknd and worked this Sunday which meant little trips to the corner shop  but at least we have noticed and are tweaking our plan for next month.

Also summer hols and DS15 constantly starving ha so think may have to budget next month for our weekly top ups to be £25 not £20 to keep the boy full :rotfl:

so £9.91 til end of month :D

Well, didn't,t make it to Wednesday before shopping, had to buy milk and eggs, so got the rest too.

£51 in Aldo's - but this did include a bottle of Gin and 4 bottles of tonic - DD (19) is in a foul mood after a row with her BF, so a large G&T is safer than me telling her to wind her neck in - I forgot the tomato for her to make a salad, and you would think the world had ended - I emailed her a google map showing the nearest shop ;)

I will wait till this evening before the G&T though :)

Just had a top up shop with a spend of £20.60 split between Mr T; Icel*nd & B&M. Have bought 2 packs of 3 baked beans - one to go in motorhome and one to go into stores; also 2 cans of Frylite from B&M again one for motorhome and one for stores.

    Will add to signature shortly.

I did a massive shop at lidl and Iceland today and spent £97.38 but that should tide me over until the end of the month and I'll just need to add fresh bits as and when. I picked up some yellow sticker pork chops and BBQ drumsticks and I got a large fajita kit for £1 reduced which is fab. Lidl had a 90 wash pack of surf for £9.99 and Iceland had a box of 40 walkers crisps for £4 which looked like good deals but I didn't need them so I didn't buy! I'm totally sold on the lidl non bio washing powder and doussy softener now though, two of my kids have eczema but they've had no problem with this stuff and the clothes smell lovely!

My budget is still looking suspiciously healthy - to the point I keep thinking I must have forgotten to add some spends / significant long-term stock useage, but I can't see anything when I cross check all my receipts and notes.

Budget to end of today (Tuesday) is £177.17
    Spends to date are £63.60
Long term stock useage to date is £23.10
Making for a total spend from budget of just £86.70

I've still got to get to Costc0 for chicken for the freezer (not sure if that will happen before month end as I'm still trying to make freezer space for a big stock up), but I've paid OH for a couple of trays of pure orange I'd asked him to pick up for me and forgotten about last time I checked in (that came to almost £14.50 so covers almost 25% of my spends!)

Planning on making pizza for tea tomorrow, using bases, sauce and mozzarella from long-term stock (makes for freezer and cupboard space) along with some gammon from the freezer (left from a joint bought earlier this year), some cheddar, salami and tomatoes bought in the last few weeks, and some mushrooms I'll need to buy. That'll help with my shops to stock ratio which is currently at 73% shops : 27% stock (was aiming for 50:50 or as close to as I could get)

£210.95 so far (need to amend signature),with a small (less than £30 shop) due from Mr T on Thurs. I will then try to do last shop of the month in Ald* if Dad available (as don't drive), or Mr T.

Seem to be doing better with no budget wrote at the end of sig than having i t there. It's almost like a green light to spend so may just stick to running total in future and add once done. I am using YNAB aswell so will be able to see what's what.
