Very fast shortlisting turnaround, that has surprised me.

Two days seems quick to me too.

I suspect it will come to nothing, sorry but I'm a realist.
Is there really any need to be so negative about it? Maybe it will come to nothing, but OP doesn't stand a chance unless she gives it a shot.

I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

I'm not an expert in recruitment and I don't understand the process. If I was the relevant Manager I would have offered you the job after your initial interview if I had felt you were suitable. Putting you back through the process is concerning.

Get the Job Description and person spec from HR now and start working on how your competencies meet this new role.
Against each competency identify what you did, how you did it and the outcome (measurable is great and comparisons i.e. Vs budget, or last year or forecast etc) , also anything you would do differently. Use real examples from previous role and other situations.

You thought the application was hard work, it begins now. !
Debt is a symptom, solve the problem.

She failed the previous interview and is now going for a more senior role with the same company on the company's advice.

I'm quietly confident on this one, is that a bad thing?
